[some distance from the main area there's the sound of an explosion, followed by something shattering, and then a Vexen falls through a door. he looks older than most Vexens, especially given the grey streaking his hair. he's got a somewhat torn lab coat on, and that shield Vexens are known for is on the floor next to him.

Age does usually grant some sort of insight on life.

I have added safety measures as well, but there are a number of oddities concerning that room.

Simply things that cannot be explained by science or even most magics.

Yes, that would make sense. I have never been overly fond of such substances.

No, and I do not plan to with what I have learned about them since high school.

I haven't tried them either, even if a trip experience would be cool. I read on the internet about people seeing the mathematical beauty of trees while being high.

I do not believe it to be worth the damage it does to one's body, nor the addiction.

From what I've heard, LSD isn't addictive.

But who knows whether there is anything else in there? It is common in a number of worlds for drugs to be laced with more addictive ones to keep people coming back for more.

I've tried the strawberries and the pie in the room, even that potion that smelled like turpentine. None of it made me start tripping.
