[some distance from the main area there's the sound of an explosion, followed by something shattering, and then a Vexen falls through a door. he looks older than most Vexens, especially given the grey streaking his hair. he's got a somewhat torn lab coat on, and that shield Vexens are known for is on the floor next to him.

It appears that the common trend is to be pulled fifteen years into the past; I appear to be the sole exception, only going ten years.

Odd, but not entirely surprising. It would seem that your individuality surpasses even time.

Indeed. If I may ask, what has happened in those five years? I tend to stay away from the mass most of the time to avoid unpleasant changes so I'm not up-to-date with the future.
