[ Looks like someone couldn't make it to their room. Riku's passed out in front of her door, lying curled up on her side with her face pressed against the floor. She doesn't look too hot, but there's no signs of anything like a fight. If anyone passing by took a close look at her face, they might be able to tell that she's dreaming. ]

[Er, hold up. He'll just be stopping a couple feet away, looking down at her in surprise.]

[no response. you're going to have to try harder than that.]

[Fine, fine. He moves closer, crouching down beside her and poking her shoulder.]

Oi, thought you knew better than to sleep out in the open like this.

[dawnrise]

[that gets a reaction! in the form of her violently swatting at him.]

[Fine. He backs off, then after a moment's consideration, heads off to get something.

And returns with a glass of water.

Which he dumps on her head.]

[...while not necessarily the smartest way to wake her up, it does the job. she jerks awake, startled and summoning Way to Dawn automatically as she rolls into a crouch.]

[He slides back, eying the weapon for a moment.]

Would you have preferred it if I'd just rolled you into your room, then?

[sudden rush of dizzy. Riku wavers a bit, glaring up at him until she realizes he's... not a real threat.]

You know how lucky you are I didn't just gut you?

Eh, would take more than that to kill me.

[In fact, you have no idea, Riku-pi.]

Right.

[intriguing. but a blade in your chest can't be comfortable. since Riku's now dripping on top of being fuzzy-headed, she's going to stand up so she feels less ridiculous.]

[before]

[This is very true! But now he's a bit concerned.]

You alright?

[dawnrise]

I'm fine.

[that's probably a lie. she's wringing water out of her hair now, after dismissing her Keyblade.]

Why'd you wake me up?

[before]

Uh, 'cause you were sleeping on the floor?

[Just a wee bit incredulous there, Red.]

[zzzz... you'll have to do better than that if you want to wake her up.]

*finds a stick and pokes you with it, because he likes living dangerously*

[you're lucky she doesn't sit up snarling. instead she curls up a bit, mumbling something in her sleep.]

*now he's really curious, and backs up quite a bit then starts shouting*

OH MY GOD ANSEM IS NAKED AND HEARTLESS ARE ATTACKING!!

[the shouting startles her, and Riku's up with her back against the wall almost immediately, positioned for battle with Way to Dawn in her hand. but her mind and eyes are elsewhere- maybe she isn't even awake.]

*ha ha ha it worked; he'll just make sure to stay out of range*

Are you awake now, Riku-pi?

[she will hit him so hard when she's awake enough to realize what he's done. and that's a good idea, because she's turning on him now, eyes wide.]

[stays there for a minute, then lowers her arms and promptly crashes against the wall.]

Riku-pi! What's wrong?!

[starts pushing him away, trying to stand up straight.]
