Artists Block....

[Namine sighed.

She was sitting at the table in one of the common rooms, a blank sketch book open in front of her. She was gently tapping the end of her pencil against the blank paper. It seems that inspiration has abandoned her today.]

[She's wearing blue jeans that aren't tight, but aren't particularly loose either. And a white sleeveless turtleneck. No shoes today!]

[ooc: Feel free to bug her. She can usually find something to do around here but she's bored today. So she'll probably welcome anyone trying to talk to her!]

[he wipes his face with the back of his hand and smiles.]

But your shirt is soaked.

[which is why he is politely averting his eyes. white turtleneck + water? maybe not the greatest idea.]

[She looks down at herself and blushes before quickly heading back to the shore]

[Roxas smiles innocently and follows her slowly, taking a deep breath of the ocean air.]

[She's standing not too far from him, her arms crossed over her chest in an attempt to save a little of her dignity. She blushes again when he catches up to her]
Uhh, I think,I should probably go get changed...

[Roxas shakes his head before shrugging of his own sweatshirt, offering it to her.]

You can take this.

[he's all but forgotten the bandages.]

[She blinks, before smiling at him, taking the offered shirt]
Thanks.
[She quickly puts the shirt on over her own, now soaked, white top. She pauses however, when she sees the bandages]
[She bites her lip, she hadn't said anything earlier, but now...]
...Roxas? How, how did that happen?

[he blinks and looks down. oh, right.]

...ehm. I got attacked again.

[She gasped, her eyes widening. She took a step closer]

[he blushes and takes a step back.]

Don't worry. He just... slashed me a little.

[She freezes, frowning a little more]
...Who?

[he's quick to answer. it's bad enough to admit that he'd been killed by Saïx, worse to admit that he'd been hurt by the same Saïx again, and this time while said berserker had been confined in the body of a Roxas.]

[Does he remember her determined expression? Well it's back.]
No one? Really? So you just got slashed up by a non-existent being?
[ooh! She can use sarcasm now!]
[Her expression softens and she walks over to him]

Well, I'm... sort of telling the truth... he's a nobody...

[still backs away. he can't let her get involved now, when there's much more at stake...]

[She knows nothing about nobodies, so she'll just be looking confused now. She frowns slightly at his next sentence]

I'm almost all healed up already, and it won't happen again.

[She smiles at this, and before he can back away again, she hugs him]
...Promise?

[Roxas hugs her back and closes his eye.]

[She seems unwilling to move away, and instead, she rests her head on his shoulder, taking in his scent, which is now mixed in with the scent of the ocean. She cant help but like it]

[he doesn't want to move either. partly because then Namine would see that he wasn't so sure about his promise, but mostly because he really liked to stand like this, just holding her.]

[a sudden thought strikes him.]

Are you my wife now?

[That snaps her out of it! She pulls back a little so she can look him in the eye]
What?
[Does he like surprising her all the time?]

[he shrinks back, because clearly he has said something wrong. something very wrong.]

Is that a no? Because Kai said that a wife is a woman who is married to someone and that they like each other very much but that there are different kinds of love and he said that you're not supposed to do sexual things to people you don't love so I thought that maybe we were married because I like you.

[deep breath. he's almost winded from that sentence.]

[She blinks, a little overwhelmed by the speed that he had been speaking in. After a few moments though, she manages to find her voice again...And her blush...]
...Roxas, we're not married. To be married you have to have a wedding. At this stage, I think I'm just your girlfriend...
[She blushes even deeper. This promises to be awkward.]
