[ There is a Riku in this hallway. To be more exact, a Riku wandering in a hallway she does not live on, with her arms full of gifts. A jug of cold chocolate milk, to be exact, and a box. It's a normal, somewhat large, perfectly square box wrapped in shining red paper and tied with a black bow. Perfectly eerie. Her heart's beating a little faster than it should be, and it's making her annoyed. It's stupid! It's not like she's nervous, or has any reason to be.

She still takes five more minutes of pacing the hallway to gather her bearings, then she settles in front of a door several feet away from Red's and pulls out her phone to call him. Ring ring, birthday boy. ]

[What the fuck. Okay no, he can actually picture it, especially since he's got Halloween Town blood and HT kids are nasty as fuck, but he's surprised other him allowed it.]

I don't think he planned it. He wanted some of the bugs.

[She had batter on her arms. Who knew he liked blood and chocolate so much? Ha ha. D:]

That makes sense.

[He has his father's tastes, clearly.]

Yeah. His teeth hurt like hell, though.

[She's inspecting it again, just waiting to turn into a zombie or something. It won't even scar.]

You can't tell me you're surprised by that.

No, I just wasn't expecting it. Not in my arm, anyway.

[It was painful! How's that cake coming along?]

Yeah, that's a little odd. It's been cleaned and all that, right?

[Because knowing... well, himself, Aden's diet is probably pretty questionable when it comes to things that could infect Riku's injury-]

Immediately, yeah. It's a little worrying how much medical supplies they have stocked up.

[Just sayin'.]

It's good to be prepared.

Especially when you apparently need it.

[She tugs her sleeve back down though.]

[Also he's totally demolished that first piece of cake, for the record. And starting on his second.]

Yeah, but it's to be expected.

I wasn't surprised.

[She is so ridiculously happy to see that. He has no idea how pleased she is.]

[Yeah he'd probably never guess! This whole thing is a little bizarre, if one thinks about it. Riku baking something for Red and all.]

I'd hope not.

[Well, gosh, she's known him for a while! It's not that bizarre. I-It's not like she likes him for anything.]

I'm going to get something to drink.

Alright.

[Oh Riku, so kawaii. Or something.]

[No plz. She stands up and disappears into the kitchen to find something to drink that isn't gross. The mysterious appearing mango juice, or something.]

[He has that! He also has water, and some sort of generic cola. And a few other bottled things that she probably doesn't want to drink at all.]

[Most definitely not. Mango concoction it is! She grabs a bottle and then heads back into the living room as she opens it.]

[He'll be halfway through his second piece by the time she returns. He's going to go and make himself sick eating so fast.]

[She looks at the cake, then him, then back at the cake.]

You know it'll still be there later, right?

I don't see your point.

[At least he's not talking with his mouth full. Don't worry, Riku, he's not going to eat the entire thing in one sitting. Maybe.]

[She rolls her eyes and then wave a hand, sitting back down.]

Do what you want. It's your present.

Exactly.

[No, his third piece will be smaller than the first two, and he eats it much slower. It's definitely his last one for now.]

[If he gets sick she's not taking care of him. She's amazed he can eat that much chocolate in one go. Amazed, but not surprised.]

[That's alright, he won't get sick. Also it's blood chocolate, he could probably devour the entire thing and get away with a bit of a stomach ache at most.]
