[If one was walking down the hallway where the music room is they might hear a tune played over and over again. Sounds like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star doesn't it? Lil Namine here has been practicing it ever since that nice older her taught her. She's gotten very good over the few days as well. It's even in tempo. Oh... And if you were to look at the table by the piano you might notice sheets of paper with doodles and squiggly music notes drawn on them. And a plate of cookies and sandwiches. Looks like she's been here for a while now.]

[And look who just happens to hear that little tune playing. It seems curious Sephiroth is curious. He enters quietly, and just watches and listens. ]

[She's too busy focusing on hitting the right notes to notice him right away. She wants to get this one completely right so Miss Namine will teach her another song.]

[Well of course you should be focusing. And the last thing he'd want to do is ruin that focus. He seems very amused by the impeccable attention span the child seems to have for the piano versus so many others who can't seem to focus for more than 15 seconds on any given thing... They could learn from this one. ]

[And she finishes the song once again and reaches for a cookie since she was getting hungry. While turning towards the table she spots him from the corner of her eye and quickly turns to look at him.]

Oh... 'm sorry did you wan' to use the room?

No.

[He was good with a sword, but a klutz when it came to music. ]

I was just listening.

[Well now she's all self conscious since someone was listening to her. Grabs that cookie and sits on the bench looking at him.]

'm jus' learnin' so 'm not tha' good yet. Miss Namine is much better then me.

Just learning?

[It sounded fine to him. Not that he had much to compare her to. ]

It sounded fine to me.

Well... I have been practicin' for the past few days..

[Blushes at the compliment. Maybe she should finally show Miss Namine how good she's gotten.]

[Maybe. ]

How long have you been playing the piano?

Only a few days... Miss Namine taught me the song an' I've been practicin' a lot.

I see.

[He just assumed that you'd only been practicing the song for a few days...not piano itself. What true potential. ]

Then I am even more impressed.

[She also had a really good teacher. She still messes up every once in a while, though.]

[Well come now, who doesn't make a mistake every once in a while? Who would no more about mistakes than the man before you. Who, by the way, has no intention of hurting you. ]

[He's never had one before... Perhaps it is time he tried? ]

Here you go. [Holds one out with a smile.] They're chocolate chip.

Nice to meet you Mr Sephiroth. 'm Namine.

[He takes it, and inspects it. He has never had chocolate either. But, there is a first time for everything. So he takes a bite. ]

Hello Namine. Thank you for the cookie. It is very good.

[Namine would be completely shocked to learn that he has never had cookies or chocolate.]

You're welcome. You can have more if you want.

Uh...Thank you.

[Careful, he seems to like them, and may end up eating them all. He reaches for another.]

I've never had a 'cookie' before.

[Ope. Curious kiddo is curious...]

Whatcha doing?

[Oh hi Riku. She hasn't seen you in like forever. Stops the song to turn towards him.]

'm practicin'!

Playin' a song. Miss Namine taught me how ta play it a few days ago.

Oh, that's cool. 's it fun?

Mhmm! [Big nod. Pats the piano bench and motions him to sit next to her.]

I can play it for you now if you want...

Only if y'wanna.

[he'll plop on over, anyway.]

I do!

[Waits still he's all settled and then turns back to her piano. Starts to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for him. c:]

[Oh is that music? He'll be following the sound to the music room now. Doesn't say anything, just watches her.]

[Then she'll just continue practicing her song. She's quite focused.]

[Wanders on in finally and interrupts.]

Where'd you learn that?

[Oh. Stops and turns to look at him.]

Miss Namine taught it to me.

Oh... well, it sounds. nice.

[He isn't used to this being nice to girls thing.]

[Smiles. Well she's five so I think the being nice to younger kids override all?]

[Walks over and picks up some of the papers and looks at them.]

What're these?

Oh... When I took a break from practicin' I drew.

[And she just thought the music notes were pretty and squiggly.]
