[Guess who's back from the dead and looking quite mild about it? She's in the kitchen, too, digging through the fridge. After a bit, she's decided to snack on a piece of fruit. Mmm, peaches.]

Yep. I was going to go teach that bastard Greed a lesson, but she already did. Saves me a lot of messy cleanup, really.

[frowns deeply, not really trusting her words.]

[turns away from her pointedly, obviously set in thinking she's lying.]

You would if he cheated on you.

[swallows hard, not turning away from the stove.]

...What circumstances? He wasn't getting any from you, so he got some from someone else. Did you really think he'd do the right thing? He's not called Greed for nothing.

[tries to sound very sure when she says that, but her voice wavers slightly. for now though, she'll just continue making her soup.]

I'd take you to see the wreck, but he's locked himself in his room for the moment. You'll just have to take my word.

[glares over her shoulder- sniff- and heads to take a bowl out of the cabinet nearby.]

Frankly, you remind me of the snotty bitches at school who'd sooner stab you in the back, metaphorically speaking for them, than help you out with anything.

[sets the bowl down heavily.]

[yes. pours some of the soup into her bowl and covers the pot, making sure the heat's completely off.]

Well then why are you so afraid to believe me? After all, when he finally does cheat, you'll feel completely justified, so don't worry.

[just scowls at her and starts searching for a spoon.]

[no, really? finds the spoon, then a tray, placing the bowl on it and going off for bread. mm toast. she's just going to pretend there's no one else in the kitchen.]

[FROWNS MORE but goes on ignoring her. so long as she's not taking the bowl she already prepared, she doesn't care. puts a couple slices of toast in the toaster, then heads to the fridge.]

[turns back around with a bottle of orange juice- glowers.]

You make really shitty soup.

Ugh, how does anyone deal with you?

[resisting the urge to hit her because she knows that won't turn out well, and grabs that toast, putting it on the tray with a new bowl of soup.]

Oh, they manage.
