[he's standing in the doorway to his lab, a shattered cup of coffee by his feet. the inside of his lab is... completely ruined. nearly everything is either burnt or destroyed, including months of research notes and experiments. he's just... shaking as he stares in horror at what's left of his laboratory.]

[wraps his arms around Vexen's waist and rests his chin on a shoulder, starting up a low, angry, rumbling growl, the sort that might send people running in fear. eyes the wreckage of the lab warily, since there are still a couple of things vaguely on fire; curls a bit closer to Vexen]
