vivere disce, cogita mori
[by a desk in a corner of the library sits a replica by the name of Roxas.
he's got a notepad and a pen in front of him, and piles and piles of books around him. they have titles such as 'Obscura Mortis' and 'The Afterlife'.
he was actually only supposed to pick up a single book on the subject of death and afterlife, but found so many he thought he might as well do a thorough job. too bad he's not really the research kind of guy... or the difficult words kind of guy.]
I wish the doctor was here...
[Not really, but Dr. Even could have explained the books... or simply given him an answer to his questions. his Even might have been cold hearted, cowardly and not very good at creating replicas, but he was still smart and understood these odd words in strange languages.]

[he snaps, not looking up from the book. the small print is giving him a headache and he's been reading the same sentence ten times already, still not understanding it.]

[you just caught his attention, congratulations. once he realizes he's been warned about this stranger his hand flies down to his hip, possibly grabbing some sort of weapon.]

So death works differently here, and not only because of the coming back-thing...

[blink.]
Who sent you?
you didn't see anything
[doesn't see any reason to avoid telling people about the afterlife in the universe he came from. he didn't have anything to lose.]
see what? :D
[sure, he wants to believe in an afterlife and angels and all that stuff, but he was raised to be somewhat more rational. and while he could kind of accept the thought of supernatural beings, he couldn't accept the thought of them being dependent on bueraucracy.]

[although, one of these books had mentioned something called Hades...]

There's not really one easy answer you know. That's a pretty complicated subject.

[he nods towards the huge stack of very large books he's already looked through.]
I kinda figured.

These should be something along the lines of what you're looking for. They're in plain English, anyway.
no subject
Too bad you didn't walk by before I forced myself to read through these, huh?
no subject
Yeah. You really read through all those?
no subject
No way! I sorta... tried to but kept getting all cross-eyed and ended up just flipping through them until something interesting showed up.
no subject
That's the way Latin presents. Out of curiosity, why are you so interested in reading about death?

[he looks a bit embarrased. he had barely slept last night due to thinking about death and such.]
