What the...?

[Someone had missed the notice about the holiday festivities; Roxas had just been on his way to get something to drink from the kitchen, but upon walking into the doorway of said kitchen, it was like hitting a brick wall. The blonde had tried going back, forward, and tried to make a portal, but he was glued fast in the doorway. He hadn't yet noticed the plant above his head. Now he was just leaning against the frame of the door, scowling.]

I hate this place.

((OOC: Because the cursed mistletoe is too funny to pass up.))

[Haylee was also heading to the kitchen, but um. There is a Roxas in the way. Stops probably just out of range of the mistletoe.]

[He blinks, turning to face her - was she a female version of that kid from Twilight Town? - still looking rather sour.]

I can't... I'm stuck in the doorway.

You're... stuck. Okay...

[Haylee doesn't know about the mistletoe/hasn't seen it either.]

I don't know why, I just can't move out from under the door frame.

[To demonstrate, he tries to move towards her, but he's met by the same invisible wall. Even ramming it with his shoulder doesn't let him move.]

Huh. That's weird... [Starts looking around. Maybe some button or lever to turn it off? Sees mistletoe y/n.]

[Probably y, because otherwise Roxas is too dense to notice it. He's decided to summon a keyblade now and take a swing at the wall blocking him, but it has about the same effect as hitting a wall. The keyblade just bounces back.]

Ugh... if this is a joke, its not very funny....

Erm... it might be some kind of a joke... [Points above him. Haylee knows what that plant is and maybe takes a tiny step backwards.]

[Blinks, looking up. Now he just looks confused; Xemnas was never big on Christmas decorations.]

What...? What's that plant?

Uh... it's called mistletoe... ever heard of it?

Mistletoe... No, I don't think I've ever heard of it... Is it bad?

Well, it's not exactly bad... I mean, I think it's poisonous if you eat it, but that's not the point... around Christmas time, people put it up around their homes and if two people get caught under it it's tradition for them to kiss... except normally they're not actually caught... [That is so totally not a small blush on her cheeks, what are you talking about :/]

Oh hell. You've got to be kidding me... I'm going to be stuck here until I kiss someone?

[Pfft, it's okay, Roxas is too busy freaking out to notice the blush.]

Looks like it. So I'm guessing that if someone else walks under there, they'll be stuck too?

[O-oh good. It's only cause she's figured out this is probably some kinda spell and um. She's never kissed anyone.]

Probably... since, uh, you need two people for the whole kissing idea to work...

[Rubs the back of his neck awkwardly. Well this is a pickle. Roxas has kissed someone before, but uh, it wasn't a girl. He frowns.]

I really hate this place.

[Shuffles a bit in her place.]

Look, if you want, I could... I mean it's not like you have to do anything terrible... so uh... [Maybe blushing a bit more now XD]

[blinks] You could...? Wait, you mean like... we could kiss?

[He might be looking a little embarrassed too now. Because he doesn't want to stuck here, but kissing a stranger isn't exactly his idea of a great time either.]

Well... unless you wanna wait for someone else to get you out.

[Well it's only mostly 'cause she's doesn't want the poor guy stuck there. Mostly. Also maybe a little bit 'cause he's kinda cute XD]

I don't want to be stuck here for a really long time...

Uh... yeah, okay, um... [Slowly walks towards him. Be cool, Haylee, be cool. No big deal. Um... she's probably a little bit taller than him, which doesn't help with the akwardness.]

Uhhh...Am I interrupting something?

[Yeah, being shorter than her doesn't help the awkwardness. Roxas had just planned on a quick and mostly painless peck on the lips until he heard another voice.]

Uh... N-no. Not really.

PENNY! [Insert huge grin here.] You're here! [Goes to hug you but uh. Invisble wall, right.]

[Blinks, not knowing anything about the invisible wall]
Yeah...I'm here....What's going on here? [looks up and see's mistletoe...blinks]Ohhhhh! So THATS whats going on...[Big grin]

It's like... low 30's Celcius here. And humid.

My lounge room has air con, so I kinda live there in summer. Also dinner, back soon.
