[stepping out of a full-length mirror like it's nothing strange, this Axel is dressed in a black tank top, camouflage pants and black, ankle-high combat boots. Two swords are also strapped to his back, along with a short bow and quiver.

It takes maybe a second for him to register the distinct oddness of his surroundings.]

Okay, this is definitely not where I'm supposed to be.

[his eyes narrow as they scan over the room and the doubles, lingering for a bit longer on the Soras and Roxae than others.]

I don't know where Paris is, but this place probably isn't a part of it.

[makes a vague gesture at their surroundings.]

This place is called the Dressing Room. It's some sort of crossroads between dimensions.

[exasperated sigh.]

Great, so another Shadowrealm for all intents and purposes. And it took me fucking centuries to leave the last one.

Kai it is. I'm going to guess you already know [part] of my name?

Well, you look like an Axel, but not everyone who looks like one has that name.

Alright, Axel then. So you've been in a place like this before? How'd you get out?

Usually you'd look for the person the place belongs to and ask it for permission to leave.

[his face falls.]

Oh. No one knows if there's anyone in charge of this place. It seems to do things on its own.

Appearances aside, there's always someone pulling the strings.

I guess... one of the people who got pulled back from the future might know. There are a couple people who've been here for... I dunno, like fifteen years and then got pulled back to this time.

Somehow I don't think they'll be a lot of help if they're still here.

Well maybe not, but they'd know more about this place and how it works.

[shrugs.]

Once you've seen one, you've seen them all. Does this one have a tendency to mess with people in different ways too?

Well, yeah... but sometimes that's just the witch. She likes tossing spells at us every so often.

Heh. And that's it?

Er, well the last one brought everyone's fears to life. And then there are the dangerous people around. There are murderers and people who attack defenseless people for entertainment.

Oh, and the Heartless.

Heartless being...?

They're these creatures made of darkness, and they steal people's hearts.

[considers this, and then:]

Oh well. Something new.

Just don't underestimate them. Some look human, and they're really dangerous.

What a coincidence, so am I.

I guess you'll be okay, then.
