Just another piece of that always fragmented dream...

[She has finally settled snugly into her room, hiding from the cold under her covers, sketching quietly and contently. It's been a while she's she's attended to her art, and for not so enjoyable reasons. Thankfully, she has fresh bandages on her arms and legs, and has made sure to lock her door, lest any unwelcoming figures come to disturb her peace of mind.

She yawns a little. A couple of nightmares have been keeping her up the past few nights, and has never been able to compensate her loss of sleep. Maybe now she'll get her peace and quiet.]





[ooc: or not (*bother*). wouldn't be too surprised if one or two knew how to get past locked doors here. hm?]

at this rate, he's the one losing sleep. he doesn't seem to care though, frowning and mentally debating if to wake her up now.]

Her breathing is still the same. Her body has tensed up as well, but no noise is heard from her.]

[unless she starts showing signs that this is a nightmare though, he'll keep quiet.]

[Her breathing becomes more and more rigid, with her body tightening up at the same time, until she suddenly starts coughing. It's a violent fit, lasting for a half-minute or so.

It seems to have jolted her awake. Her eyes are wide open, blinking bewilderedly. She sits straight up, panting a bit, seemingly confused.]

[he mostly panicked during those moments, unsure what was happening to her and what to do, until she woke up]

Hey, what happened? You all right?

[She's been rapidly scanning her surroundings, as if this was unfamiliar territory. The sound of his voices causes her to direct his attention towards him, startled. She blinks at him, with a puzzled expression, then glances at her shoulder, scanning her arm, then him again.

In what seems to finally be defeat, she groans and rubs her temples in frustration.]

That was...a dream?

You weren't as moving as much like before so I thought you were all right...

...I should've woken you up.

[Shakes her head.]

It's okay, don't worry about it. It wasn't another nightmare...I don't think at least.

[Furrows her brow, trying to remember.]

It's hard to say....The whole thing was just fragments of different...things.

Like my old home, and Saix, and other people here. [Scratches her head. There was something else that she couldn't remember.]

Saix again, huh.

Well, one good thing is that at least it looks like it's getting out of nightmare land and more into weird land again.

[Wrinkles her nose in thought. Something important seems to be slipping her mind, but she doesn't know what it is.]

Can't remember.

Most of what I saw in my dream had to do with my past, but I don't think that part did....

[Sighs.]

Maybe that's why I can't remember.

[Touches her shoulder tenatively.]

That was strange.

[Nibbles her bottom lip.]

I think at one point in the dream, I was attacked again by Saix, but different from the last time.

I don't remember feeling pain, but I think I kind of had a flashback to that moment.
