[when he's not struggling to stay entertained, the dressing room seems to enjoy messing around with Riku.]

[case in point: his lunch is turning against him. it's one thing to have a generous helping of noodles, but it's another when it appears to be one long, continuous strand. he's spent more time dumping it out on the table to see how high it can really pile up.]

[eyes it warily. maybe it'll grow inside him later on.]

No... Just making sure.

[Oh god. Like a noodle baby?]

Maybe they're guts.

[twirls them around on his fork.]

[She'll poke those noodles now to see if they try to eat her hand.]

[no; just a noodle ball.]

[starts cutting it in two. biting pieces off of it has only worked so well for him.]

[Gives him a weird look.]

You're actually eating that mutant ball of noodles?

Food is food.

Yeah... I'd rather not eat anything that is continually growing, though. That thing is like a giant tapeworm.

[Walking over to the fruit basket and snagging a pear.]

Tapeworms are alive.

[not that he wouldn't rule out the possibility. peers inside the bowl. maybe he's missed something ...]

Hey, that thing might still be alive.

[Yeah maybe. Takes a bite out of the pear. Mmm juicy.]

Looking out for my safety?

Maybe. No one wants to deal with a dead body.

I don't think people really die here.

[shrugs at her.]

I've seen people get attacked and come back the next day, but I don't know.

Well that's. Weird.

Weirder than never-ending noodles?

This whole place is strange.

No wonder. You're probably going to get sick from that thing.

Oh yes. Food poisoning is amazing.

[raises her eyebrows.]

I wonder how many meatballs would--

... maybe it's better not to think about that.

... it tastes like meat.

[pokes the pile with his fork.]

[grabs a loop of the spaghetti and takes a bite out of it.]

[blinks once. well, it's not like he's going to run out of it anytime soon.]

... huh.

[blinks at it.]

Tastes more like veggies to me.
