[the door to her room's open and she's at her workspace with... a head. it's just a prop, of course, and she's using it to build a mask. there's more to her job than just makeup when it has to do with the horror genre, after all. at the moment, she's carefully shaping a cheek with a small knife of some sort.]

[Namine is just walking on by when she sees another Namine working on a mask. She watches for a second from the door way and just has to go into her room.]

You move a little higher. It'd look more dramatic. [Yeah shes behind you and would be tracing where she means but the other girl has a knife and she probably startled the poor girl.]

[yeah thanks, she just barely manages to keep from stabbing straight through the mask.]

Uh... Sorry about that. I know, just trying to give a helpful hint... [Sheepish grin.]

[smiles in response.]

It's okay. I've been doing this kind of stuff for a while though.

Mm, same. I have to make the masks for the robots and stuff. I use to be really bad at it so I wanted to share any tips I came up with. [smiles a little more.]

Robots?

[glances back at the barely shaped mask.]

I've been doing makeup and stuff for years.

Yeah. For the haunted house. We can't have Frankenstein without a face, can we?

So you're more make up, then? I just make decorations for the house.

You work at a haunted house? That's awesome.

Yeah, I do makeup for the movies Saix directs.

Yeah. It's the family business.

M-movies?! Movies are so much more amazing then a silly old haunted house! [she's in awe.]

W-Well, he's still just a student! But it's a lot of fun. He got my older brother, Demyx, to handle the music and I begged to come along to see. I ended up fixing things their old makeup artist was doing, and eventually Saix just stuck me on the team. He's amazing.

[hi can you say schoolgirl crush.]

That's still way impressive!

[W-wait a second...] Did you just say Demyx is your brother...? Oh wow. Roxas is my twin brother.

Really? I think Roxas is Sora's brother back home.

Demyx in my world is a college kid we pay to work the soundboard. He's nice and hangs out with us once in a while.

[giggles a bit.]

Music and stuff in any world, huh.

[giggles as well.]

Looks like it.

[glances inside that door as he walks past-- then quickly moves backwards.]

... Namine?

[looks over, setting down the knife. chill, Repliku, she's a tiny thirteen year old.]

Yeah?

[well he wasn't expecting to see 'his' Namine anyway, he just wants to make sure she's not insane-- oh god she has a blade.]

... What are you doing?

Making a mask.

[turns the head a bit so he can see the half-shaped face.]

Oh. ... Okay.

[wanders inside to get a look at it, head tilted.]

Why's that?

To make sure my skills don't get rusty. It was part of my job back home.

[sighs, pushing at the mask's nose a bit.]

Guess you're an artist no matter where you're from.

[gives her possibly the nicest smile he's capable of as he looks at the mask-to-be, then back to her.]

You're normal, at least.

Guess so.

[smiles brightly in return.]

Normal doesn't always seem to be a good thing around here, though. I'm screwed if I run into trouble.

Better than being like the psychopath I saw earlier.

[this mysterious incident traumatized him.]

No one's tried to hurt you, have they?

[tilts her head, curious.]

Not yet, no. I've managed to avoid trouble.

... You don't want to know.

[shakes his head, rubbing the side of it awkwardly.]

And good. That's great. Pretty lucky, too.

[but now she's super curious, damnit.]

I've been sticking to my room, mostly. That's probably why.

[she'll just have to be curious. he doesn't want to traumatize her.]

Smart idea. You should keep doing that, definitely. Most people won't come after you for no reason, but too many of them will.

[you just keep confusing her, Repliku.]

Okay, I'll try and stick to my room, then.

[it's not his fault. ;;]

Yeah, okay. Good.

I'll have to leave sometimes, though, to get food and things.

[scratches her cheek, frowning. also a little weirded out by the whole... protectiveness from a stranger thing.]

And it can get boring in here.

[not even aware he's doing it.]

Yeah, good point. Just... try to be careful, and watch out for-- do you know Marluxia?

Yeah, he's in charge of wardrobe in my world. We both work under Saix. Why?

[...brb imagining that.]

How does he act?

He's... a little creepy sometimes, but generally okay?

[scowling.]

Stay away from the ones here. They're all manipulative creeps who wouldn't think twice about killing you.

O-Okay.

[slightly shaken by that, understandably, since even if the Org members of her world can be assholes sometimes, they're all still human and only young adults.]
