[the main part of the dressing room has been cleared out. what appears to be a glowing orb that acts light a Disco ball floats in mid air, and there's a random skeleton disc jockey already.

there are also food tables around, and because of the variety of monsters people have transformed into, there's normal food and weird food.]

I'm definitely not defending him, but I don't want him hurting you too.

[...you know what, have a Light flare as he crosses his arms.]

[that's a shock to her system, and she stumbles back so fast she nearly falls over, arms held up to shield her face.]

[--wait, what. immediately pulls it back, looking worried.]

Shit, Riku, I didn't mean to- you were starting to- I could feel Darkness and thought-

[just. stops, 'stupid stupid stupid' running through his head on repeat.]

[waits a moment, then slowly lowers her arms, looking at the floor.]

Don't worry. I'm fine. It's nothing I haven't dealt with before. ... It was a good thing you did that.

Are you sure?

[almost scared to come closer, because he doesn't want to hurt her by accident but he's sdlfksfl worried.]

[dawnrise]

I'm fine.

[well he didn't hurt her before, and that -- didn't hurt as much as it shocked her. it snapped her out of going into a growing rage, too. she holds a hand out for him as proof, head tilted.]

[smiles in relief, ignoring the hand in favour of a hug.]

Good. I'd feel horrible if I hurt you.

[dawnrise]

[a-aw. well in that case, she'll hug him back.]

Don't worry. It's not bad enough for that.

[seasides]

[lets go after a moment, still looking relieved.]

Okay.

[dawnrise]

[smiles at him. she really is fine - the effects from the costume aren't severe enough to notice, instances like that aside.]

... So, does this mean I can't kill him?

...I'd really rather you didn't, but if you have to...

[shakes his head a bit.]

I'd like to.

[crosses her arms - she looks exceptionally like Ansem when she does that - but frowns.]

He shouldn't be allowed to get away with that, Kai.

[seasides]

[kfjdslfs just ducks his head and nods.]

[...why you do that. tilts her head down, frowning.]

[he's going pink again, Riku, do you really want to know.]

[...well, why is he going pink when she's talking about killing Larxene?]

["he shouldn't be allowed to get away with that", as if Kai wasn't at fault for... y'know... being an idiot and biting and stuff? at least, in his mind, he's partially to blame.]

[it's not like she knows about any of that, though. actually she would approve of biting him - she would have. but the point is that she wouldn't put any blame on Kai at all, so...]

[looks at him expectantly. whether he answers or brushes it off is up to him, of course.]

[grins a little sheepishly.]

[dawnrise]

[...doesn't look like she believes him, but nods.]
