[she may be playing healer around here, but that doesn't mean she's going to let her fighting skills slip; she's in the simulation room, fighting a rather large number of Heartless. the group seems mostly comprised of enemies from Hollow Bastion (KH1, of course), despite her never having been there. the joys of books, right? she appears to be doing pretty well. she's fast, in any case, and makes her strikes count. it's somewhat surprising to see, considering she looks like any other younger Kairi around.]

[being knocked back rather hard by a Defender doesn't seem to bother her and she slips around it, slashing rather viciously at the back of its head. one down, a dozen or so more to go. a quick Thundara and it's back into the fray!]

[she slips up for a moment, leaving her open for a Darkball to slam into her. it gets ice to the face in response as she staggers back upright, expression slightly pained. damn, for a simulation these things hit hard. it's not long before she manages to off the rest of them, though, casting a Cure on herself once she's finished.]

Yeah. She got frustrated with my Riku for not joining her and just shoved a bunch of darkness into him! I hate her so much.

From what I've figured out, it's all a matter of timing. Sora, Riku, and I met up on the main island before going to check on the raft, so we were all together then.
