[there's a new Kairi walking into the DR, busily drying her face of tears as she does so. it only takes her a moment to notice the difference between her house and wherever she is now, and when she does realize, she just... gapes.]

[so this one still has to remember that not every Riku, Kairi, Roxas, or whatever isn't his and that some wouldn't appreciate an invasion of space very much, but here he is with his hands on her shoulders from behind, stepping close.]

[it feels just like home all over again, but it's not a welcome feeling. like when she found out Roxas was in the hospital and nearly killed herself tripping down the stairs from the sudden onslaught of emotion. it scares him just a little, but he holds himself together for her sake, rubbing soft circles at the small of her back.]

[He'd not talked to many familiar faces...just the one Sora, and a brief conversation with a Riku..but this was a face that sort of shocked him. Don't mind him just staring for a bit.]

Kairi? Did Sora find you?

[Sure it was a lot to hope that she was from his world, but there was that part that just ached to see a familiar face..even if it was the face of the gal he kidnapped.]

[stares, wide-eyed. the temptation to just tackle him is so great, but she resists the urge.]

Actually, Namine rescued me. Then I met up with Riku, and Sora after that.

Things went great. Sora and Riku won, and we went home.

I'm sorry, Kairi. I should never have gotten you involved. It's just...I wanted to see Roxas again so badly...I didn't think of the consequences.
