[after stumbling across Saïx's body, he was limping around in a daze. something deep inside him -- pride, perhaps -- had prevented him from pouring a potion into the gaping wounds Saïx's claws had left behind on his left hip. he'd made his way to the kitchen, where he acquired a large knife of the most sharp persuasion. left leg dragging a little, he made his way back to the living room where he'd found his lover. darkness was still leaking from him, causing him to fade. but he wasn't entirely gone yet, blue hair splayed across his peaceful face.

in true Shakespeare fashion, he brushed a kiss over Saïx's cold cheek, whispering three little words to deaf ears. then he takes the knife, closing his eyes as he pulled his arms back. plunging the blade into his chest, his eyes shoot open. the pain is sharp and immediate, crimson starting to flood down his shirt as he twists the knife.

Axel crumpled to the floor, the light fading from his eyes as his life pours out of the wound.

Saïx dead, sure, she can't say that was a surprise. Hadn't he said Axel should have let her kill him? What she didn't expect was to come back this way and find a certain redhead on the floor with him.
