saying nothing, nothing, nothing and saying it loud, loud, loud
(hey, it's Montag!Axel. he seems to be doing well.
he's mostly changed out of his firefighter's outfit, except for the jacket.
he's doing a bit of searching, perhaps trying to find something interesting to do, or maybe someone to talk with. he opens a door, to reveal a room with what looks like TV walls. the stuff playing on the screens is entirely random, one moment it's showing random colors and playing music, the next it's a car wreck, and so on and so forth.
he freezes at the door, staring into the room with a look of utter horror)
...I need to find a lock for this room.
((Wall TV room, completely taken from Fahrenheit 451~
Montag!Axel's wife was obsessed over them, and pretty much spent all of her time watching them. So, needless to say, he hasn't had the best experiences with them.
also, bug him~))

What room?
no subject
That one.
(...hey, Kairi, it doesn't look particularly life threatening. why would it need to be locked?)

(it's obvious he doesn't like them for some reason)

(really hard to explain :|)
Where I'm from, these were fairly common. So was people spending all their time watching them. My wife was one of those people. She couldn't care less about what happened, as long as she had her TV walls, her Seashells...
Murders could happen, she wouldn't care. As long as she was 'happy'.
(yeah, he pretty much had the world's worst wife)

But at least she was happy.

I met this one girl, the you in my universe, who was...kind of like the daughter I never had. She was a strange one, but unlike everyone else, she actually cared about other people. Her favorite subject wasn't herself, but others.
I hadn't seen her for a while, we'd typically talk as I walked home from work. So I asked my wife about it, since I'd told her about Kairi. At first, she didn't know who I was talking about. Then, when she remembered, she told me that Kairi had died four days ago, that she had been hit by a car.
Why didn't she tell me? She had forgotten completely.

Believe me, there are far worse things in life.
no subject
Yeah.
(he still thinks that she should have told him sooner :|)
no subject
Well... This is one stupid TV show.
[Just leaning against the door frame looking in.]

(s-sigh this reminds him all too much of his wife :|)

[Shrugs.]
no subject
I'd just rather not have anything like that happen here.
no subject
And I doubt anyone would get addicted to this stupid thing.
no subject
I really hope so.
no subject
Then again they might all get addicted. You never know~
