[The sound of rain and thunder, in the dressing room? No, not real rain. It's coming from the simulation room, which is altered up to look like a quiet, flowery little path runs into the distance - one that anyone from a version of Destiny Islands would probably recognize. Kairi's standing there in the 'rain', picking a flower from one of the simulated shrubs. Everyone feels homesick at one point.]

She tried to go after you again? What happened?

She was carrying a large weapon, akin to a 'Keyblade', it seemed, but your older self had the element of surprise and managed to injure her, and we escaped... though it does worry me.

For now, all is well, at any rate. However, after that short-lived crisis, I noticed that she was wearing... well, a ring, in a word.

[and cue a very heavy pause, which may or may not be a good thing -- she was looking progressively more worried as he talked.]

She wouldn't say, though in a way it seemed as though she were implying that it was directly linked to a rather large commitment, so to speak.

Well, I do appreciate your concern, Kairi. Nonetheless, we did survive the fall some time ago, during that animal spell, so it's unlikely that I will become ill.

Oh, yeah, I should've told you. With everything that goes on around here, I figured it would be better to have somewhere kind of safe to go if I needed to. At least I can lock the door in my own room, right?

Fine. It's nice having my own room again, and I've been gathering stuff to make it feel a little more like home.
