Basically, because I don't know much about this place either.
I've only been to a kitchen and a library, though there was a game room.

Well, I suppose I could take a little break from my game. [Cracks his knuckles, slicing people up was stressful on the hands.]

[Joker tilts his head, looking at Sora curiously.] You're shiny.

[Sora gave the other the same curious look, fidgeting a bit before he answered.]

Y-Yeah.
I'm not exactly myself at the moment...A God accidently transferred his powers in to me and..I'm like the new...Aphrodite.

[He mumbled the name in embarrassment, hoping his friend didn't have the best hearing. Yes, Godku messed up and gave Sora his powers. They haven't been able to do anything about it so far. So he was stuck as a God of Love, shining like crystals under light.]

Then why are you in it, what's the point if people are going to get hurt?

[Maybe if Joker actually wanted to have an actually friend, a decent conversation that was enjoyable, without bloodshed and someone trying to run or attack. It's possible that's why the act could go on.]

Because people need to be taught a lesson. They're too comfortable. They need to have their wills tested, and they need to understand the consequences of the choices they'll make.

[Except Joker doesn't actually need any of those things. Or at least, he has yet to actually miss them.]

Some people and most can atone for their sins without someone else punishing them without knowing all of the story.
Joker, you can't do that.

[How unfortunate. Sora was confused beyond all belief from the sudden information registering in his worried mind, poor thing.]
