[there's a bloody corpse lying awkwardly against a wall. it's identifiable as a Kairi, wearing what appears to have once been a large blue hooded sweatshirt. the front of it is ripped beyond repair though, exposing a bloody, shredded and crushed torso.]

[someone's looking just a tad healed, and with a sharp inhale, there's suddenly life. and then she promptly starts choking on the left over blood in her throat.]

[resists the urge to just collapse, because that would mean a face full of blood-spit, and that's gross. so she'll just roll onto her back, taking deep breaths. hey, the wound's gone!]

[wide eyes, long stare, and then he's trying to gently hoist her across his lap, fingers brushing away the hair from her face and his sleeve used to wipe the corner of her mouth.]

H-how are you? Are you gonna be okay?

[holds her close, softly pressing her face against his shoulder as he cradles the back of her head. don't worry, he's crying again too.]

[it's okay, it's okay, or at least he hopes it will be, just thankful that she's alive god damnit. he'll soothe her by rubbing her back, maybe placing a kiss to the side of her head. things his mother would do to him when he was upset.]
