the lady of shalott.

[soft singing. he's upside down, with a large red flower covering his mouth.]

There she weaves by night and day,
a magic web with colours gay.
She has heard a whisper say,
A curse is on her if she stay
To look down to Camelot.

She knows not what the curse may be~
And so she weaveth steadily.
And little other care hath she,
the Lady of Shalott...

[ooc; lmfaolmfao no not another crazy!sora. xD this is Victorian!Sora. he's kept in a girl's finishing school because the slew of London murders freaked his parents out and sent him here, with his aunt, the headmistress. \o/ so yes, he's dressed like a girl. corset, tamed spikes and all.]

Are you a fan of poetry?

[Currently reading some good old Lord Byron herself.]

Lord Tennyson is good, but a little too romantic for me.

How do you like Robert Browning?

"My Last Duchess" is big on my list. "Porphyria's Lover" is also pretty good.

[ooc: lawlz on using my english major powers to pick out the most sadistic, creepy poems in the world XD Browning forever!]

Browning really is much better than most give him credit for. "A Toccata of Galuppi's" is pretty cool, going back to Venice and all that.

[ooc: Sorry, currently doing calculus and looking for anything to get my mind back on my preferred topic :X]

No, just a reader. When I get sick of the idiocy around me I like to immerse myself in the writings of smarter gentlemen.

Although the idea of me locked in a room with a grouping of small children disturbs me...

[ooc: It's nothing to look forward to, let me assure you.. ]

Oh... well... thank you?

[She then realizes she's she having a civilized conversation with a Sora. Although she remembers, it has been a very long time since she's found someone to converse with about poems...]

I'm leaving now. Good day.

[She then walks off, mentally reminding herself next time she's going to have to attack the Sora if she wants to preserve her reputation as a crazy sadist.]

What do those words mean, Sora?

That's me. [happy pooh bear smile!]
