[Axel's ducking into his room, closing the door behind him. His hood is up, and he's got a pair of scissors in his hand...]

[Roxas is poking his head out of the bathroom at hearing Axel's voice, a toothbrush in his mouth; he was brushing his teeth. Seeing Axel with his hood up and a pair of scissors is a little confusing to say the least.]

Huh? What's wrong...?

Have you ever cut hair before?

[blinks, pulling the toothbrush out of his mouth] Um... I've trimmed my own hair before.... why?

There was an accident earlier, with Marluxia... [tugs his hood down] And I'd fix it myself, but I'd probably just butcher it more... [turns around to show Roxas the back of his head, where the ends of the spikes have been singed clean off]

[Roxas blinks a few times at the sight of Axel's singed hair, biting his tongue to keep from laughing. I-it just looks really ridiculous.]

Heh.... okay, I'll help, hang on...

[Goes back into the bathroom for a second to finish brushing his teeth, before going back to look at the full damage done to Axel's hair.] Wow... what did you do to piss Marluxia off this time?

Would you believe me if I told you he wasn't mad? We were playing a game of catch, and he got a little... carried away. Heh...

[Don't laugh at him Roxas, his ego doesn't need that blow, too.]

If you could just... trim the rest of it a little to even it out...

What were you playing catch with? Something flaming?

[He's trying not laugh, really. Roxas does look a bit amused though, he can't help it.]

Sure, I'll trim it for you... You need to sit down though.

He sort of turned the ball into a bomb, yeah.

In the bathroom? Probably best. Easier to clean up in there. [He goes in and glances around, choosing to sit on the edge of the tub, so the hair would fall in there and he could just rinse it down the drain. He holds the scissors out to Roxas.]

... Wow.

Yeah... that would be good. [Follows Axel into the bathroom, taking the scissors from Axel. Roxas clambers into the tub behind Axel, inspecting the damage.]

Sure... it's no problem. You'll just be less fluffy....

Aw... It'll grow back, though, at least.

Heh, yeah. It will probably grow out before you know it...

[Roxas starts with snipping at the charred hairs to fix the ends, because they are pretty well split. He runs his fingers through Axel's hair a bit, evening out some of the spikes.]

Mm, yeah... My hair does grow pretty fast.

It really does... Do you ever cut it normally?

[Just keeps snipping, trying to keep everything even. He's doing a pretty good job at least; he's taking his time. Axel has a lot of hair to try and cut evenly though...]

Eh, not really. I've trimmed it a few times to keep it managed, but otherwise I just let it be.

[He's patient, if some time spent sitting there is the difference between looking ridiculous and looking fairly okay, he'll have to be patient.]

No wonder your hair is so long...

[He's got the back mostly trimmed, running his fingers through it again to get any loose hairs free, and to check that he got it even. A few more snips and Roxas is moving to the top of Axel's head.]

[You know, that's not so bad. The attention to his hair feels kinda nice, actually.]

Yeah... How are you holding up? Still having a hard time sleeping?

[That's good. Normally getting a haircut is nice... though having your hair charred off isn't exactly the best reason to get a haircut.]

Yeah... I slept a bit better last night, so I feel okay.... Still haven't been sleeping great though.

I'm sorry. We're going to get this fixed, though. Namine said she could help you.

It's okay... not your fault. Maybe we can find Naminé after this... if you want.

[just keeps snipping at Axel's hair]

Yeah, sure.

Okay...

[Ruffles Axel's hair a bit, checking for any stray hairs he missed. There's a few more snips of the scissors, before stepping back a bit.]

Well... I think that about does it. How does it look?

[He stances up to glance in the mirror, running his own hand through his hair a bit. It was different, but not too bad, really. Just like a shorter version of what it was before. He turns back to Roxas, grinning.]

Nice job, thanks.

[Brushes off some of the red hairs that are stuck to his shirt and pants, Roxas climbs out of the tub. He grins a little bit back.]

Heh, thanks... It looks pretty nice.
