[she's in the kitchen, gloves tucked into her belt and the sleeves of her robe rolled up and out of the way as she pokes around the appliances she doesn't recognize. she's yet to really learn about what exactly Heartless and Nobodies are, so she's trying to avoid the general chaos concerning them. she doesn't seem particularly on guard in any case, currently studying a blender curiously.]

What's wrong, you've never seen a blender before?

[turns to stare at her.]

...no, they don't have things like this back home. What are you?

Heartless. Let me guess, they don't have 'things' like me either.

I've faced all manner of creature, but the closest I've seen to you are demons and wraiths.

I'm hardly either of those.

And what's a Heartless, then?

We're what happens when someone falls to darkness.

That's terrible.

I guess so.

[so very unconvincing.]

[smiles humourlessly.]

Tch... corrupted. What a shame.

Being pure gets boring after a while.

I think I'd rather be pure than what you are.

Why's that?

I've seen what corruption does to people. And I've seen the battles that followed. In the end, no matter the losses on the side of Light, balance, they are always victorious. The dark, the corrupted, they lose.

Aren't you naive.

[she's amused, I just lack a smiling icon.]

I've battled armies of demons and undead. I've led my people to the end of the world and we survived. And even though we lost many people, it was the Light, the good who won. I've seen the darkness, been tempted, and turned away.

[a pause and she's tilting her head.]

I pity you.
