[she's perfectly fine with the silence, but after a good thirty seconds of searching for a can opener with no luck, she speaks up again, absently pushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear.]

Um.. you wouldn't happen to know where I can find a can opener, would you?

[he murmurs a soft 'ah' and takes a step back to pull open a cupboard that was right beside him. he pulls out the asked for can opener.]

[doesn't really notice, finishing off the cup and dropping it in the sink. he stretches up to open a cabinet and grabs the first bag of ground coffee that he sees.]
