[the ball room, once set up to be a grand celebration suddenly shifts. The lights flicker, and the white mushrooms dart off, as larger, more powerful heartless appear. Darksides, Wyverns, Large Bodies, Soldiers, you name it, it's there.

The tables have turned, and now anyone within the ball room is in great danger.]

[HIDING UNDER THE TABLE. AND CRYING.]

[looks surprised for all of a second before he smirks, summoning his chakrams in a flurry of black flame.]

Finally, the entertainment's here.

Looks like our dance will get a little more interesting.

[hands dip into her purse, pulling out leather gloves]

[jerks his arms away from her and his guns appear] Tch. Lock and load, baby.

[smiles, summoning his scythe.]

That's a lot of big Heartless...

[someone's regretting the dress she chose, but hey, she's not gonna go down without a fight.]

So this is where they were all hiding.

[smiiiirking, kunai in hand.]

[screw human form. His frame begins to blur, the lines of his body shifting and rearranging themselves with an audible crunch of bone. In a moment, it's all over and there's a ferocious-looking creature with red fur where the teenager used to be.]

[standing with Zexion, died a little inside at the sight of a Darkside right in front of him]

[sitar forms in his hand] Ohhh, hamburgers...

[eye caught by familiar black flames across the room]

[doesn't have time to get his attention, too busy dodging a giant fist] Aagh!

Knew this was too large of a place for there not to be any.

[glances at the dress] You sure you can fight in that?

Oh good. I don't like the 'damsel in distress' type.

[winks at him before she cracks her knuckles]

Don't hurt yourself out there, you still owe me a dance sweetheart~.

[whoosh, here's a wyvern swooping down at you]

[shrugs]

I'll be fine.

[soldiers are heading your way, little girl]

[saw her dart under the tablecloth, ducks under after her] Hey, shh... Don't cry!

[pulls the girl against her, holds her tight, keeping watch for shadows around the edges of the cloth]

[well, it's no fun if none of them are coming his way. Warps to Demyx's side, raising an eyebrow at Zexion.]

Tch. This isn't the place for munchkins.

[scrambling farther back.]

[big? If you insist. There's a Darkside about to smash you with its hand]

B-but... there's monsters!

[huggggging]

Ahhh...! [grabs Namine, picks her up and crawls out from under the table]

[moar wyverns here]

[That is big.]

[raises his scythe and brings it down in an arc, sending a curved wave of dark pink energy at the Heartless]

[He was just about to respond to Axel when- oh shit]

Dammit!

[Hands go to his side, Oathkeeper and Oblivion materializing into his waiting palms, he looked over his shoulder at Axel, smirking]

Now this I know how to do.

[its hand remains on the ground for a few moments, and shadow heartless spawn near the base of the arm. It takes the damage, but then leans back and begins to release dark orbs from the hole in its chest]
