[how long had it been since he'd last shown his face around here? he can't remember.]
[not that he had much to remember since disappearing in his room; he hadn't done much besides sleep on occasion and watch the ceiling spin. he can't exactly remember the last time he had a decent meal, either.]
[so maybe having Anti in his heart was killing him back home, but actually adjusting to not having Anti there at all is a taxing struggle on its own. so he'd finally summoned the strength to wander out, looking for someone in particular.]

[plops on the floor. this is going to take a while.]
