[you don't see this one around too often. ~~of course you don't, he's a ninja.~~ but right now he's not really hiding or attempting to avoid the effects of the truth gas, as he sits on a low branch in a tree in the garden, legs swinging a little. the only secrets he'd never want to tell are the ones of his village, but he doesn't know anyone here from his universe who'd even know to ask the right questions, luckily.]

[he stares at the ground, speaking softly.]

[g-guh, Sora. he's paused, looking up towards him. and he was just bringing lunch, too.]

[smiles and looks up; still inexplicably quiet.]

Good timing. I was just starting to get hungry.

[heavy sigh, before he gives a quiet laugh.]

[he sweeps into a full bow.]

Oh, Juliet, come down from your balcony. I'm here to feed you.

[the smile turns into a small grin.]

You're not getting me until you climb up here yourself, Romeo.

[and just to be difficult, he hops up to a slightly higher branch.]

You have to make everything an adventure, don't you?

[sigh, and he's closing the basket, starting to climb up.]

Just so you know, this isn't fair. Mr-Can-Run-Up-Trees-With-Chakram. Chakra. Whatever it was.

Why not? Everything you do is way more satisfying at the end of an adventure, right~?

[snickers a little and looks down innocently.]

[waits to be hit over the head with the basket.]

[once he's up there, he's not hit with the basket, but the palm of his hand.]

Hello, Dorket.

[mock-ducks, gets hit (of course), and rubs his head, groaning melodramatically in pain.]

Hey, who're you calling Dorket, Mr. Seriously-Quotes-Shakespeare-Of-All-Things?

[makes an attempt at swiping the basket, attention immediately drawn to it.]

Hi, to you, too. Is there pie in here?

I'm calling you Dorket. Shakespeare's a classic, by the way.

[he's settling down on the branch, yawning before watching him with the basket.]

There's a piece.

[looks back up at him, slice of pie in hand and playful grin in place as he passes over the basket.]

'kay. I'll just have to call you Geekeo.

Fine, Dorket.

[he shuffles through the basket, unwrapping a sandwich with an idle hum.]

[there's a thoughtful pause as he takes an uncharacteristically small and neat bite out of the pie.]

... So how've you been managing?

[he's giving him a curious look, a light frown on his lips.]
