The world has moved, be quick enough to not miss it now

[Light might be seen flooding beneath one of the many doors in the dressing room, slowly fading away when the door was opened to reveal a new ~~old~~ arrival. He was going through the motions without taking in the new environment, bustling in to the hallway with grocery bags in his arms and making a move to drop his keys on a counter that wasn't...there.]

Roxas, I'm back from the-

[Eyebrows furrowed over mismatched eyes that moved around the hall with a short turn of the head. A worried look took over his face before changing to one of bafflement while his eyes widened as he dropped all of the groceries in his arms.]

This is.....

[He leaned back against the nearest wall, shaking his head.]

But I thought...that it was all just a-a dream.

[It was a little overwhelming to adjust from being thrown in to this strange place then pulled back to his own world, universe, whatever it was-just to end up being pulled back again. He couldn't tell whether he should be relieved or scared, but he knew he was hopeful to see a familiar face. With that in mind, he tried to calm the storm inside himself and began to collect a few apples and oranges that had spilled out of some of the bags from the impact. The remedial task was certainly helping him rebuild his composure anyway...Okay Sora, deep breath. Just..get this done, find a kitchen to put everything away in and then...we'll figure out where to go from there.]

[There's a bitty Namine picking up one of those oranges that rolled away over here, looking at you shyly now.]

[He catches the sight of blond hair, lifting his gaze from the ground to see the orange in those tiny hands.]

Oh...

[He relaxed from the sight of her, giving the girl a gentle smile as he raised his hand for the orange. Promise he doesn't bite.]

Thank you.

[...Hesitantly hands it back to him, nodding.]

Y-you're welcome..

[He just stuffs it in one of the bags that wasn't too full, grasping all of the straps to heave them up in to his arms again.]

Hm?

[He had a hard time hearing her from how soft her voice was, but from reading her lips he merely gave a small nod.]

Unless you were going to eat that, in which case you can have it. But..I'd prefer to wash it first.

[He took a note on her hesitancy, but assumed that she was hungry and reluctant to give back the fruit..]

[Shakes her head. She's just shy. She doesn't interact with many people. Just her ~~master~~ friend who rescued her from the organization.]

It's yours. You have it.

Oh, alright.

[He was starting to notice that. Even so, he'd rather have a shy guide around than run in to some unfriendly faces.]

Well, I'd have to ask but...I haven't been here for...almost three years. Do you mind helping me find a kitchen?

[He'd like the company and he could only hold on to all of his bags for so long.]

Promise I'll make us lunch for taking up your time.

[With that said, he offered another smile, hoping she'd agree.]

(I'll be on in about two hours, seeyah! :> )

[Blink blink.]

O-oh, uh..I suppose I could..

Really?

[That earned an even bigger smile.]

Great, thanks!

[He is on his feet in seconds, walking to her side with the bundles of goods.]

Whenever you're ready then.

[..Nods and leads the way obediently, staying quiet.]

[Clears throat]

So, how long have you been stuck here?

..Two weeks and two days....I think..

[he's not quite sure why this kid looks so familiar, but that's not too surprising, especially in this place]

If you're talking about this world, I once thought it was a dream, too. So you're in a good company at least.

[Kira was in the middle of a power shopping session when she's stopped by the fruit rolling in front of her]

Huh? What's this?

Ah, not terribly long then. That's good.

[He was attempting to strike a conversation, but apparently he isn't the most talkative person either.]

So, what was your world like?

[Humor him, please.]

((I'm sorry to hear that..))

[H-Hey, who are you calling a kid?]

[He looked up from the mess he was attempting to pick up, immediately taking in the other's appearance. They have something in common then, because he acquaints you with Axel.]

Guess I just wasn't expecting to ever come..back.

[And now he's mumbling to himself, staring at one of the apples in his hands before lifting his gaze. Don't mind him staring, he's just never seen ~~Axel's somebody~~ a younger Axel before.]

[Might have to speak up, he still seems to be wrapped up in his own little world. Picking up what fruits were actually close to him and mumbling under his breath.]

[Kira will pick the fruit up, then spotting Sora, make her way over]

I think these are yours.

[She's quiet for a moment, perhaps wondering how to explain.]

...There are, lots of different worlds there. I haven't seen a lot of them. I only started traveling recently.

Mhm, neither was I. Before, were you here for long?

[he's still staring a bit at him, trying to figure out the familiarity. sorry about that.]

Er...

[Now he's gone quiet, pursing his lips while he scrambled for a different question.]

Well, what was your home like, you know, the area where you grew up?

((Sorry for the late reply, honey. ))

[Shakes her head.]

I didn't. I'm just a Nobody without a Heart of my own. I came into...Well, I wouldn't call it existence..When the Sora of my world released his and Kairi's Hearts. I was then "born" at Castle oblivion, as I am now. I didn't have a childhood. I didn't grow up. This is what I am.

[He lowered his gaze to the groceries, finally realizing how rude it was to stare.]

Yeah, a really long time. It must have been..more than a year, at least. But then again, it's hard to have a grasp of time in this place.

[He'll just be fumbling with the bags now.]

So, you were pulled back here as well?

O-Oh.

[He turned to the sound of her voice, forgetting the tedious process he was mixed up in.]

Ah, thank you very much.

Oh, I'm..sorry. Forgive me, I didn't mean to assume...I..I didn't mean....

[If he could shove his own foot in his mouth, he would.]

[She blinks, not understanding why he's apologizing...Then offers the tiniest of smiles.]

Don't apologize. It's alright. Like I said, this is what I am. I have never really known anything different, so it's not like I can miss it. I'm content as I am.

Ah right, of course...

[That smile did ease his worries a bit..]

I guess that's true.

[He gave a brief nod, lifting his eyes to glance around the hallway as they walked.]

..Have you made many friends here?

[Kira will hand over the fruit with a smile]

It's no problem. Though you should try and be more careful next time. What if you had eggs and dropped those?

[She's such a good little actress isn't she?]

..No. Not really. I mostly keep to myself. It's safer, since I don't have a way to defend myself if I were to be attacked.

[Yes, indeed.]

Ah, I felt the same way when I first ended up here.

[But he was sorely mistaken, there was strength in numbers. The more friends he made, the better off he was.]

Would you mind having one then?

[Yes, he meant himself.]

I can be of use, I hope, I used to have a pretty good power in this place, but that's if I can find my paintbrush..

[And now he's mumbling to himself..]

[A smile, that's exactly what he needed to be shown.]

I, ugh, guess I was just startled. Good thing I didn't buy eggs.

[Laughs.]

[He takes her by surprise again. He wants to be her friend? But why? What would he have to gain by being friends with someone like her?

She doesn't understand.]

....Why?

[He was a bit taken aback by that, laughing softly.]

I think the real question here is 'why not'?

[Smiles.]

You have been nothing but kind to me and I don't have many friends as well. It's only if you'll have me.

[He wasn't going to force a friendship with someone if they didn't want him as a friend.]

[She's quiet for several moments, thinking...Before she nods.]

I suppose so. I don't really see why not.

[It certainly couldn't hurt.]

[good thing Kira is the friendly type; she'll giggle a little]

You'd have to get more eggs!

[don't worry, he's still staring a little.]

Yeah. One minute I'm going to find some old dude who might help me, next minute I'm here. But it's always like that with this place, I guess.
