Ugh, yeah. Probably caught it from some wussy Roxas in a dress.

[her mom senses were tingling. and now you have a worried Olette in front of you, hands on hips and frowning]

[sighing she leaned over and pressed a palm to his forehead]

[sarcasticly rolls eyes] Oh kick me while I'm down, why don'tcha.

[digging in his pockets-- he knows he has a tissue somewhere..]

[takes his hat off so she can get a better feel, his forehead's burning up]

[ruffles his hair, his hat just made him hotter]

I'm fine, don't worry about it... [closes eyes and rests on his elbow]

Gee, Seifer. You don't look so good, y'know?

Yeah, I'm not feeling so great.

I'll be alright. [cough]

[hmms as she feels his head, then his cheeks. brows knit in worry, then she shook her head- looking cross]

You're not fine. And I will worry.

[taps her chin, thinking]

I'll make some soup... get you a blanket and make sure you're well hydrated. I'll also see if I can find medicine, and make you some tea with lemon and honey, that always helps when you're not feeling so well.

[nods to herself]

Right! I'll start on that- but is there anything you need right at this moment?

[smiles at her cool hand on his cheek] M'fine...

[opens eyes and stares as she starts to list things off] Wha- No no, don't- [tries to surpress a cough] Nn- [cough, cough]

[gives up, falls back to the cushion of the armchair, eyes closed] ... If you really want to, I don't mind... But it's not a big deal. [voice is quiet and a bit hoarse]

Some kind of cold medicine would be nice, if you can find it. I couldn't.

[eases into a smile]

Of course I want to, Seifer. I always take care of my boys. Honestly... I don't know what you guys do to get sick so often.

[shakes her head before smoothing his hair back]

Your soup and medicine will be my top priority right now, so you sit tight and concentrate on getting better. Okay?

Now, for a quick treatment that Pence insists is effective for taking away his fevers.

[leans in and gives a quick kiss to his forehead, then pulls back smiling]

Don't go anywhere, I'll be back soon!

[scurries off to play nurse. &hearts]

[scratches the back of his neck]

Uh... do you need somethin' I can do that, y'know.

[opens eyes at 'my boys' - since when was he equal to them?]

[looks up at her as she smooths his hair] Heh... You really don't have to, you know- [kissed on the forehead] ... [What just happened?]

[looks at her] ... Kay.

[looks to the side, trying to take that in, runs a hand through his hair]

[sneezes]

Yeah, I'm Seifer... [sniff]

I'm alright, Rai. Fuu already asked me. Could you find me some kleenex, though?

[okay, so she wasn't back as soon as she'd like... things were still a little iffy around here. So she had to lay low and fix things quickly and quietly.

but finally she returned, holding a tray filled with good things! A bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup (hunks of chicken in there and everything), a bottle of cold medicine, a glass of orange juice also in place.

she was extra careful she didn't spill anything- and what was that tucked under her arm? was that a comfy little blanket? yes it was.]

Here you go~. Just like I promised.

[head on the arm of the chair, nearly asleep- opens eyes, sits up and raises eyebrows]

Man, you didn't have to do all that... [seems embarrassed] Really. [sniff]

...But thanks. [weak smile]

[aw, that was cute. -- or not cute at all. nope! places the tray down before putting the blanket on him, then handing him his food]

Yeah yeah, so you keep telling me.

[smiles]

[drinks some of the orange juice]

[sighs, gives her an exasperated smile]

[tries the soup] ...This is really good.

Thanks again, Olette. I really owe you one.

Of course it is! My grandmother's own recipe. She made is all the time for me back home, especially when I wasn't feeling very well.

[pulls up a seat so she could sit next to him, stretching her legs with a little sigh]

Hm? Nah. Let's just say this is payment for the hat you let me keep.

[winks, taping the rim of the ever-so-sparkly red ...thing]

That's nice. I never knew my grandma. Either one.

[smiles as she pulls up a chair]

[laughs] I really can't believe you're still wearing that.

But it looks good, like I said before. [has a spoonful of soup]

I'm sorry, Seifer. [pats his arm- but not in a pity sort of way, just very genuine]

[then she blushes lightly, grinning]

Oh well... it grew on me.

[like a certain someone, apparently]

S'not a big deal. [shrugs and has more soup]

I bet dragon-Seifer likes it too. Did you ever decide on a name for her?

[nods]

It took me a long time, but the library has a lot of baby name books. I thought I'd name her Sefika. She seems to really like it.

[smooths down her shirt]

I was going to bring her to see you, but she wasn't in her usual spots. I think she's off looking for something to eat.

[has some orange juice]

[puts the cup down] Sefika... [laughs] Interesting... Good choice, though.

[shrugs and continues with the soup] I'll see her later, she probably wouldn't like to see me like this anyway. I am her role model, afterall.
