[Thud.]
.......
[What was that sound, might you ask? Roxas' forehead planting into the kitchen counter-top: self-induced, one might add. Apparently short-stuff here is not a morning- uh...afternoon person. Or it might just be all the racket from the occupants around which are preventing the youth from getting a decent sleep.
He wasn't about to resort to coffee, but something to give him a little energy might be a welcome relief from the mental quick-sand his consciousness felt like it was sinking into.]

...Are you, ah...well?
no subject
[Straightens, shifting to face the other in order to be polite.]
Tired is all.
no subject
Mmm, I understand that.

[Finds a packet of hot chocolate and swings it back and forth, trying to force the contents downward.]
One of the Keyblades said things should get better soon, so I'm looking forward to that.
[Tries a smile, aiming for friendly...even if he's awkward with strangers.]
no subject
I should hope so. This has been taxing on us all.

A lot of people around here seem to like adding spices or such to their tea.
Is yours anything special or unique?
[Resumes his duties with the hot chocolate, shredding the top with teeth and then looking for a cup. Roxas prefer to put the powder in and then milk right before warming both up, because he's a little bizarre like that.]

[glances at his tea-cup]
Simply orange and spices.
no subject
Thats' interesting.
I've heard the flavor of oranges go well with chocolate too.
[Finishes creating the concoction which is his drink and settles across from the other to sip at it.]
Anyway, it's kind of you to sit and talk.
I haven't run into a lot of people who would enjoy it.
no subject
That they do. Oranges and strawberries, in particular.
[eyebrow up]
Good conversation is welcome always with me.
no subject
I appreciate it, because despite how many people are here...
It's harder than you'd think to just mingle well with others.
Yeah, the gang from back home is here- but they all kind of stick together.
For some reason I've been feeling like I don't belong anymore.
So-
[Tinkers with his cup.]
I don't know. Is it wrong to want to make new friends?
no subject
no subject
That's true, in never wanting to forget them.
I only hope to find....other people who mean as much to me.
no subject
If you act as you do now, with me, I believe you shall have no trouble.
no subject
Thank You.

Would you do me the honor of telling me about your world?

It's a little boring compared to all the amazing tales people have here.
[Fingers the handle of his mug, no longer interested in the now cold drink.]
Well, right now I'm- I was on summer vacation with three of my friends. Sometimes Olette, she's the only girl in our group, will make little snacks for us when we hang out. Cookies, usually.
Atop of that, our group's been having all kinds of adventures, trying to enjoy the remaining days we have left before we have to return to our studies. All four of us were really disappointed that it was ending soon, but- being stuck here sort of of postpones that.
Which is kind of good, even if it's natural to be homesick too.

I would not worry, there seems to be an ever-growing amount of people coming in. Perhaps one will be your friend, or perhaps one will become just as close as one back home was?
no subject
[Cheeky little!kid smile before Roxas realizes that he didn't reciprocate in the question.]
...How about you?
What's your world like?
no subject
My world...ah, my world is harder to explain. I am a God, one of many, in my world, thus I more or less exist in two different ones.
no subject
[That- takes him off guard.]
A- spiritual being?
[The boy's a little bit in shock with having had a casual conversation with an immortal creature who must be older than..mountains, or the oceans, or possibly even the universe he comes from. His mind excitedly reels over the possibilities.]
Do you protect certain things and have powers which cause harvests or create tides? Or is it more like you're a God of war, peace, youth or beauty...?
no subject
[inclines his head, still sipping tea]
I protect those who need it, however I can.
[lips curl up a bit in a smile]
Youth is a stretch but, beauty, sex, love, those types, that is what I control.

Well, I know affection for 'your fellow man' is a very vital part of life- so you must be extremely important. The Dressing Room is lucky to have a deity that helps everyone come together in happiness.
[Childish curiosity strikes.]
So how does that even work, having powers over...the 'L' word?
[Whispers, cupping a hand over his mouth for that last word.]
Do you have to find two people that were meant to be together, such as soul mates with halves of a soul that fit together, and then help them end up-
[As a teenage boy he's -got- to act like the idea is all fuddy-duddy and preposterous, even if the curiosity is there.]
...Happily Ever After and all that stuff?
That's how Olette talks about it.
She says there's a soul-mate for her somewhere and that they have to find each other.
no subject
I can, help that is. If two people should be together, I can assist them, show them the way, as it were.If two people shouldn't, then it's too late, but there are always other...ah, options.
There are happily ever afters...rare as they are, I suppose.
no subject
That's good.
I bet helping so many happy couples really makes life worth living.
no subject
You are awfully ah...optimistic, are you not? Do not ever lose that, little one.
