[You might have seen this Sora before- he's been missing for a bit, though. He stumbles in through a door, looking around]

Well, I guess I'm stuck in here again...

[ooc: Some more FFVII!KH characters would be great if anyone's interested. XD]

[Nope, there's no mistaking those glowing eyes.]

Sora? Sora!

[Roxas certainly remembers this Sora and is smiling to see him again.]

[ooc: Sorry ... I've been meaning to reply to this for quite some time now. ^_^;]

Hi Roxas! [grin]

How have you been? I haven't seen you around for a while -- wait a minute. "Stuck in here again"?

[Mouth is definitely open in surprise.]

Did you find your way home?

Well, not find. More like chucked. And not home, though the Lifestream is close enough since that's where I'm supposed to be.

You got ... chucked into the Lifestream, then? Here?

[Well this is definitely interesting!]

Not, the Lifestream back home. So I got to make sure people where doing ok.

Oh. I'm -- uh -- sorry that you got pulled back in here then.

[Runs a hand through his hair, uncertain of what exactly to say.]

So I guess there is hope of getting out of here ... temporarily, at least.

Yea, there is. I've seen some people stay gone for good, I think.

Really. I guess maybe that's what happened to some of the people I haven't seen around for a while. Hm.

[Looks thoughtful about this, but then brightens.]

Hey, but since you're back, I finally got around to making that dessert I was talking about earlier. The one with the rum. Are you in the mood for something sweet?

[ooc: There goes Roxas again, thinking with his stomach as always. -_-;]

Oh, really? That sounds good! [grins!]

[ooc: Sora does not mind at all. XD]

[Grins back and opens up a dark portal.]

All right! To the kitchen then.

[ooc: I don't remember if Roxas has ever used his portals around Sora before....
Roxas is glad that Sora doesn't mind. ^_^ Maybe being a SOLDIER means that he's got a fast metabolism.]

Ok! [follows]

[ooc: I don't either. We'll assume yes.
He probably does. XD]

[There is a large Bombe Alaska cake topped with meringue sitting on the counter, looking as though it has just been pulled out of the oven seconds earlier. And there is that bottle of rum from the cellar next to the dessert.]

Would you like to light it off once the rum goes on?

[Roxas gestures to the dessert as he pulls out a measuring cup and starts pouring some rum into it.]

What do you mean? [has never seen a bombe alaska before]

[Grins even wider. It sounds like Sora has never seen a Bombe Alaska lit off before. Not that the experience is as thrilling as battling a thousand Heartless or anything ... but as far as desserts go, this one takes the cake -- literally! -- when it comes to showy visual experiences.]

The cake gets set on fire.

Really?

...That sounds so cool. [griiiin]

Can you cast Fire? [Roxas remembers Sora casting some level of Blizzard way back when when they were making sea-salt ice cream.]

Or we can light it off with a flame from the stove. Either way.

I don't think I have that materia with me. Sorry.

Eh, that's okay. [Shrugs good-naturedly.] I guess there's a chance that the whole cake could go up in flames if we used magic on it.

[Digs around in a nearby drawer and produces a package of kabob skewers. One skewer is taken out and lit from the stove, then Roxas holds it out to Sora.]

[grin! lights the cake]

[With a faint "whoosh," the rum ignites, the flames instantly spreading from the inital point of contact to covering the whole cake.

The small fire burns brightly for several moments, flickering blue and orange as it burns up the rum while slightly cooking the meringue a little more. After another second, the flames begin to die down and then self extinguish completely once all the rum is gone.

Roxas grins, looking quite pleased by the display.]

Perfect.

[ooc: Whoops, I forgot to have Roxas pour the rum over the cake before handing Sora the flame. My bad, but it still worked! XD]

That was awesome. [grinning like an idiot]

[ooc: it's like magic! XD]

Pretty cool, huh. [Is so glad that it worked as nicely as it did.]

Now, for the best part -- we get to eat it!

[Grins as he nabs plates and forks and a big knife to cut the Bombe Alaska with. In another minute he has two pieces of the dessert -- ice cream sandwiched between two layers of cake with fluffy meringue on top -- on the plates.

He holds them out to Sora for him to take one.]

Thanks! [takes it] It looks really good.

Well, I hope that it tastes as good as it looks. [smiles widely]
