[slumped against a wall, holding his head in his hands. he's extremely thin, emaciated, and his arms and legs are covered in bruises, but not visable. he's muttering to himself, trying to ignore anyone that passes by]

[9 year old Sora flies over, holding out an apple]

You look kinda hungry. D'you want an apple?

[ pushes his fingers through his hair and pulls a little in frustration. he doesn't lift his head, muttering towards the floor, his tone bitter, almost harsh ]

No.

Ok! [munches on it himself, then] What're you doing?

[grinds his teeth and then glances up. he pauses, blinks, and then shakes his head]

...Losing my mind.

Why?

[drops his head back into his hands and slides further down the wall until he's sitting]

...Get out of my head.

[Cue a concerned Demyx kneeling down in front of the redhead with worried eyes.]

Hey man, what's wrong?

[His mind already noting on how sickly skinny the other was.]

I'm not in your head. I'm in the dressing room with you!

You're not fucking real.

[Nevermind that Sora's just a kid. Axel has no courtesy for others. ]

Yes I am! [pokes him to prove it]

[muttered, to himself]

what isn't wrong?

[on impulse, his arm snaps out, fingers curling around Sora's wrist. He blinks once, twice, and then slowly lets go]

Well...

[thinks for a second]

I'm pretty sure that your eyes aren't wrong Ax.

[headtilts] What's wrong?

[glances up, eyes narrowed]

What's that suppo--

[a beat]

...Ax. You know my name.

...You're working with them, aren't you?

Who?

The doctors. They sent you here to mess with my head, distract me.

[chuckles lowly, almost eerily]

What doctors?

[Laughs, grinning]

Well yeah, we're friends right-

[His eyebrows knit together remembering where they were again.]

Of course, you might not be the same Axel I knew from home.

[Mumbles]

Don't play innocent.

What do you mean? Are we playing a game?

[studies himm and after a few moments, he shakes his head, looking away and absently pulling at the sleeves of his hoodie]

Sorry. Don't know you. I don't think I do, anyway.
