[it's a rare sight to see a handful of Assassins in the dressing room-- they're discreetly investigating all over, while their hooded instigator watches from the corner.]

[someone might be up to trouble.]

Aww dude, I lost again!

[He was on his knees with his arms propped up on the controls of a Pac-man game in the arcade room. Going on a new record of losing twenty seven times....Great.]

Come on, come on. Stupid blue guy...

[His stuck flicked in concentration, toggling with the stick handle a few times.]

[ Notices said assassins, and she could only grin a certain grin that said 'I'm interested'. ]

What're you up to, huh?

[identity profile] shootingdown.livejournal.com 2008-06-06 03:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Aw, Red. You're making me excited already!

[ It was then a Sniper Nobody appeared by her side. She gives it a small pat. ]

HOLY ANSEM!
[He practically smacked his head against the machine from the voice behind him, startled much? The screen on the game read 'Game Over', 'Try Again?' His jaw dropped, his bit his bottom lip holding back an anguished yell.]

Man, now it's twenty eight!

[He turned around to stare up at the guy who messed up his game, only to be faced with a figure in a cloak.]

Whoa dude, nice trench coat.

[Rubbing the back of his neck, he let out a sheepish laugh from the comment.]

Well, it's a fun game and I'd at least like to win once. Besides, better wasting it on a game then anything else.

[Getting up from his kneeling position, he dusted off before grinning.]

Come on, it's not that old. Besides, the classics are always the best.

[Grinning like a kid he dug in his Starbucks apron before pulling out one munny.]

Just try it, it's not gonna kill you.

[Our world!Roxas prickles defensively. Because as covert, incognito and supposedly discreet his minions may be; figures donning sinister hooded cloaks dont exactly blend well with the scenery. (Unless you own a Sith Lord bedroom set.) Nor do they bode well for things....uh, ever.

Sure, everyone and their Grandma Betsy had a pair of the oh-so-trendy Organization garb. ( Did Target have a sale or what? ) But everything seemed hunky-dory until someone decided to flip the cap over their face. I mean, Instant!Anonymity kind of was a red flag for 'Bad Guy'. People should know this from any comic book-in the history of ever.

Because honestly, when do you ever hear the lady at the checkout counter go "And the nice black-hooded man pulled the baby from the wreckage, ran across the street to stop a robbery and then gave all his lottery winnings to a battered woman's shelter? Noooot happening~.

All in all. Call him paranoid if you wanna, but that's just too much a villain's tell-tale trademark to pass up having an anxiety attack over.....and wishing you'd taken Karate instead of 'Expanding your mind with Yoga!' as your high school P.E class. ]

Couldn't help it. You know how I love pulling the trigger -- not that you're the Axel I know personally, I'm betting.

[ Shrugs, pulling her hood up. ]

Eh, I'll stick around and watch.

[ And she snaps her fingers, the Sniper disappearing. ]

[Goes still a moment, possibly contemplating how to 'Exit Stage Right' without winding up viewing a "This was your life, Roxas!" fast-forward view of every dull moment of his existance. Really doesn't care to die right now. There are important things left to do....like- um. Yeah, he'll get back to you on that one.

Plays along for now, pretty much ignoring said assassin as if it was no consequence. If you act like you're supposed to mingle with someone...then you're treated like you are.

...Unless they can smell your fear. Then you're fucked.]

That's the spirit.

[Hopefully this guy doesn't mean literally.. His smile grew watching the redhead play, he could tell it was Axel. But probably not the one who always took his shift at the ash register at home. But still, it was nice to see a familiar face again.]

Just a heads-up though Ax, might wanna watch out for the green one. That blob is one sneaky bastard.

[Proceeds moving on to..greener pastures. Much as the other may be enjoying this, having the freaking Spanish Inquisition staring down at you did little in the way of...fill his day with sunshine and rainbows.

In fact, it's merely revived Roxas' impulse to become a recluse far off in the mountainous cliffs...of Demyx's attic. Once he evicts the 80's punk band reject, of course.]

[identity profile] rubberduckyboi.livejournal.com 2008-06-06 04:29 pm (UTC)(link)
[His heart beat sped up from the intense game. Well, it was intense for him. Blinking he looked down from the question.]

O-Oh, ugh. I've been playing for about...four hours..

[He practically whispered the answer, a little embarrassed from how long he'd been playing. Or actually losing.]

[identity profile] rubberduckyboi.livejournal.com 2008-06-06 04:33 pm (UTC)(link)
S-Shut up...

[He mumbled, cue one Demyx embarrassed and turning red. His eyes were still glued to the screen, his pulse racing from the game. If he wins...I swear to Ansem..]

W-Well, you distracted me before. I could've one right then and there.
