[he's looking around frantically, one hand pressed firmly against his abdomen, where there's a growing red stain peeking out through his fingers. but he doesn't seem to mind, instead getting to shaky feet and stumbling a few paces to the left, and then to the right.]

Goddamnit, Sora! What the hell...this wasn't where we were battling! I--

[he grunts in pain, gasping a bit and stopping with his movement.]

[[ooc: There was a lot of talk about Loveless-verse characters the other day, and since I had this guy created before all that, I thought I should post before someone else claimed Riku. xD;  Yes, he's the Sacrifice. Yes, Sora is his Fighter. Yes, he still has his ears. :x

[he grouches, fingers still plugged in his ears.]

[he looks a little exasperated at that, if only half-heartedly.]

Well, excuse me for worrying..

[he falls on his ass, then, gracelessly, and just as he's opening his mouth to make another comment, or perhaps to curse at himself, he pauses.]

...What happened to your ears, Sora?

[but he's clumsily making his way to his feet, and then towards Sora.]

[he reaches for where Sora's ears are supposed to be, with his unbloodied hand, eyes wide and lips parted.]

I..I just saw you. You had them a few minutes ago!

[his free hand then quickly reaches down towards the brunet's shoulder, and he looks at him fearfully.]

(she gasps, horrified, then runs up to Riku)

Are you okay? Do-do you need help?

[he tenses in Riku's grip.]

Your ears! How can you not notice they're gone?

[he lets go of the other and uses his hand to tug a little harshly on one of his own, looking at Sora as if he's grown a second head. or, well...as if he'd lost his ears.]

[he looks a her with a hint of surprise in his eye, but it melts to relief when the wound throbs.]

I've had worse..but I wouldn't mind a little assistance.

[he starts to dig in his pocket for one of those mysterious soul medicines, but stops.]

[he gestures to the other Sora and himself.]

Sora and I were fighting another pair, and we took a lot of damage..
They were pretty strong.

[he pauses, and then groans.]

I think I am hallucinating...I don't see your ears either.
