Does anyone happen to know what kind of world this is? War zone, training establishment, whorehouse, large daycare? ... Getting mixed signals here.

It doesn't seem to fit into any one category, really.

It had to have been something before everyone was brought here. I doubt war zone or whorehouse, but the daycare idea sounds... reasonable right now.
