[so he's been here for few days now, but seeing as he's been avoiding talking to anybody, he still doesn't know anything about this place.]

[He's decided that even if he doesn't have any frame of reference (what with being amnesiac and all) maybe he should do the same thing he did in the last world he suddenly appeared in - ask somebody what's going on and then decide how much of the nonsense he's going to hear should he believe. And maybe search for that redhead he vaguealy remembers.]

[So he's going to approach the nearest person, unless they look really stupid.] Excuse me. In this world, is there any method of recovering memories?

[Kira is greatly startled by having a Saix-shaped person suddenly looming over her and drops her basket of laundry]

Ack!

[just looks at her, clearly unimpressed] Do people in this world have a habit of behaving stupidly for no reason?

[that's not a good first impression, since Kira is one of the more helpful and open-minded people in the DR; as it is, she'll be cringing back and away from Saix, looking very wary and somewhat frightened]

[Kira is going to subtly try to read the Saix-shaped person, to see if he has a Heart or not; if he does, the best she'll be able to do is defend, but if he has no Heart, she might be able to fight a little so she can run away]

[he has a Heart. Also, he's lost almost all his memories, if she can see things like that]

I have absolutetly no reason to kill you, seeing as stupidity is, as far as I know, not enough of a reason. Do you ask every stranger such a question? I'd wager a guess that it would sound very provoking for violent types of people, girl.

[Kira can tell something's not quite right with him, but mostly she's bristling at his rude attitude]

I'm not stupid! Most of the Saixes around here are dangerous, and if you were one of them, I'd have to fight or run away. You're a really big jerk! You need help, but you're too proud to ask for it! I should just leave you here and let Heartless attack you.

[frowns] If you think I need help, even though you're mistaken... you could begin by telling me what are saixes and heartless you're babbling about.

[now Kira is looking at him like he's the one who's stupid]

You are Saix. That's your name, isn't it? Except that you have a Heart, and most other Saixes don't, since they're Nobodies. And Heartless are monsters.

Again, you're not making any sense. But I might as well for a time assume that you're somehow right, as I don't have any evidence to the contrary.

[hesitates and looks away a little awkwardly, not quite sure what to say for a moment] So, if you are telling the truth, thank you very much for telling me my name. As I forgot even that. Circumstances involve being kidnapped to a very strange world, maybe even stranger than this one, but I don't know much more than that.

Do I know you? I mean, should I know you?

[Kira looks a little startled, then a little upset once she realizes what the Saix-shaped person is saying]

You mean you don't remember... anything? I'm making perfect sense, but if you don't remember, I guess that would explain it. It would explain your Heart, too. You... you might actually be named Isa, not Saix then.

And no, I don't think you'd know me. I've lived in this world all my life.

If we don't know each other, then why do you supposedly know my name?

Uhm. Well. It's because I know other yous. Version of you from other worlds. That's what this place is. It brings people from all different worlds and traps them here. So... so there's more than one Saix or Isa here.

[nods] That makes sense, from what I've seen here so far.

I suppose I can introduce myself as Isa for now, that's better than not having any name. And speaking of names, what's yours?

Oh, I guess it was rude of me not to introduce myself. I'm Kira Hikari-Mori. Are you very new here?

[Kira is settling down now and will be somewhat more pleasant... at least as long as Isa is]
