[This fine evening shortly after nightfall, Luxord is a bit worse for wear, despite it being so early in the night.

Looking more on the dead side of undead than usual and with his poor tailored suit jacket torn at the shoulder, Luxord has found himself staggering the halls to hunt and not really caring too much about the how. Fortunately he's not quite hungry enough to be entirely out of control, having already lost it for a bit back at his own hidey-hole, but he's still hungry enough not to even bother pretending to be polite or sneaky about it.

He'll feed first and ask questions later. ]

[ooc: He'll try to bail if kids too young for him to take blood from safely bother him, but if he fails to shoo them verbally he'll make some attempt to scare them off before he's at risk of attacking them, if at all for some reason you want to get a kid traumatised or something.]

[He recognizes the man easily, but thinks the staggering may be due to some sort of injury. While he may not be any good at cure spells, he could still try to help. That's why the next time Luxord staggers, he'll have Riku rushing up from behind to try to catch and support him.]

Hey, are you hurt?

[If there was any, with his healing rate, it's certainly long since closed up. Dark coloured suits do wonders for hiding blood, his own or victims, but the biggest tear was torn by him rather than any attack.]

Just thirsty now, luv.

[If he wasn't quite as starved he'd have taken the time to tease Riku a bit, and maybe get him to agree to it first. Since just grabbing him is hardly entertaining, but with him right there and Luxord in no state at all to resist...

Unlike the last time he fed on Riku he's hardly delicate about it. Twisting and grabbing harder than is probably necessary, especially given how his bite affects humans, but mostly meant for getting at his neck quickly.]

[He freezes up when he's grabbed, but a part of him was already prepared for the possibility that this might happen. He hardly makes a sound before the effects hit him, the disorienting attack on the pleasure center in his brain making his knees start to buckle. It's all he can do to cling to Luxord, a whimper being his only protest to this treatment.]

[As Riku buckles, Luxord shifts his weight against the wall rather than trying to support Riku with the hold or letting go to adjust his grip.

This time lasts far longer than the last time he fed on Riku. He's drinking deeper and it would be so much easier for him to completely lose himself to the beast and the sensation it brings and take far too much.

But his senses aren't completely gone yet, and he does manage (with some difficulty) to pull away before the blood theft would get well and truly dangerous.

When he lets go, he lets go entirely to better recover from the headrush and clean away any traces of blood that might have escaped.

While Luxord closed the wound when he let go, there's a good chance he left bruising this time, both where his hands were and where he bit.]

[Riku sways in place when he's let go before abruptly dropping down to sit on the floor. He's sore where Luxord grabbed him and especially where he was bitten, and shaking his head slowly doesn't help much to clear up the dizziness or static at the edge of his vision. Sitting where he is with his hands helping to steady himself seems like the best idea right now.]

[With this Luxord stops to think.

He could just leave and return to hunting, especially since he's still hungry. It wouldn't be very good for his rather tenuous grasp on his humanity, simply letting himself 'be the monster' that is.]

You should lie down, with your knees up.

I'll be back in a moment.

[A moment, now that he's fed, being about a minute for retrieving things like potion and a shit tasting energy drink picked for it's protein and vitamin B content.]

[Riku nods even if Luxord isn't there any longer, letting himself slide down to the floor before slowly rolling over. One foot, then the other is dragged back across the floor to bend his knees upward, his eyes kept closed. He feels vaguely nauseous, and wonders how he's going to get home like this.]

[When Luxord gets back, he sits down cross-legged on the floor putting both the potion and the can down in front of him.]

Still conscious?

[Since it would be rather tricky to get Riku to take the various liquids if he wasn't.]

Yes...

[He turns his head to look at Luxord, before his eyes slowly track to the items on the floor. The one he's very glad to see, while the can isn't something he'd normally choose on his own. Still, beggars can't be choosers. Except now that he's down like this, he doesn't know if he should try getting up again.]

Would you prefer I given you the potion or would you like to chance sitting up?

[Either way he has to open up the potion so he figures he may as well get on with that.]

[Instead of answering he goes with the latter. His own feet propped up on the wall stop him from being successful, and he thumps back to the floor with a muttered curse before instead rolling slightly in Luxord's direction to drag an elbow beneath him and get situated what way.]

[If it looks like Riku's having to much trouble Luxord will put out a hand to prop him up but for now he'll just offer the opened potion.]

I'd suggest only taking half of it and starting on the other before you finish it, but I'll leave that up to you since it's your health.

[He takes it, but Luxord's words make him pause with the potion halfway to his mouth to give the can another look. It seems the same, but even he can readily admit his own judgement is questionable at the moment. He'll be doing as Luxord suggested, most of the bruising from Luxord's hands healing as he suddenly feels lightheaded again.]

[Luxord's mostly just keeping an eye out for any signs of fainting. Perfectly ready to catch the container if it looks like it's going to be dropped, prevent Riku from hitting his head if he goes down, or a combo off both if it comes to it.

Though with his abilities this doesn't really require as much of his attention as it might if he was mortal, so it may look a bit more like he's simply spaced out.]

[The feeling passes after a few moments of him holding still, and then he's reaching reluctantly for the energy drink. He almost chokes on it, not ready for the taste, but manages to get it down quickly. Riku looks like he's ready to send it right back up afterward.]

It's not exactly for the taste as much as the nutrients, should be able to wash the taste out with the rest of the other stuff.

[Not that he's one to talk about the taste of these things as he cannot taste or consume either of them.]

[Ah, so that was why he was told to save half for later. Neither one of them tastes good, but the potion is definitely the lesser of the two evils. As soon as he thinks his stomach has settled enough he reaches for the rest of it, having to sip it slowly. He still looks a little green, but much less like he was just mauled by a vampire. He'd really like to lay down.]

[He didn't really have it in mind when he suggested it, but he'll totally roll with it and say he planned that.

If Riku doesn't lie down on his own, Luxord will nudge him to do so.]

Do you want to be left here to lie down for a bit or be moved somewhere less open 'fore I go?

Somewhere else, please.

[Passing out in the open like this would be a nightmare for him. He's already struggling to stand, though he really should be waiting longer for the mixture of drinks to settle in his system before trying much of anything. Luckily, Luxord is there to supervise, and possibly catch.]

[Luxord will offer a hand to pull him up if Riku's willing to take it.]

So which somewhere else will it be?

Somewhere safe.

[Close by will be good too, especially since he doubts Luxord will have an easy time of it if he actually tried to take Riku to where Kai and Axel are staying. He's going to need that hand up.]

[~~Well, he would be perfectly willing to play 'knock, knock, ginger' and abandon Riku on their door step...~~ When Luxord pulls him up it might be a bit more forceful than really necessary, mostly so Luxord feels he's sufficiently in control of any touching should he need to be used as a support.]

Nowhere is entirely safe, but we'll see what we can do about relatively.

[~~That would have worked too, but still have his masters up in arms over the state he's in.~~ Riku is not prepared for any sort of show of force, and he stumbles right up against the man. Being upright so suddenly has him dizzy; Luxord definitely has the upper hand.]

[~~Riku probably cares a lot more on the matter than Luxord does.~~ It's definitely sufficient to placate Luxord's personal issues regarding touch so he actually supports Riku rather than dropping him immediately.]

I'm thinking somewhere with a bed and a lock would be the best idea.

Right...

[Even though locks are superfluous when surrounded by people with keyblades, but those aren't the types to usually give someone laying down much trouble.]

[They also don't do much against people who can use portals who probably are the type, but it'll deflect the odd passing interest and Luxord somewhat doubts humans would much appreciate being buried at the back of a closet.]

I would stay with you until you were ready to move on your own but I still need to hunt.

I just need to rest... Thanks...

[A closet he would question, yes. He isn't Harry Potter, used to small, closed spaces, after all.]

[Luxord prefers the larger ones that won't lead to being turned to dust the second someone opens the door on one he hid in, but all the same, not the best place for hiding humans.

As they travel past various doors Luxord will be fairly obviously sniffing to make sure whichever room is selected is unoccupied and not particularly trafficked.]

[The mannerisms are surprisingly like Axel's, and are a strange comfort. When they find a suitable room he'll stumble toward the bed gratefully, ready to sleep like the dead as his body recovers.]

[Once Riku's down Luxord will leave some water within reach of the bed then lock the door from the outside and flick the key under the door to Riku's side.]

[Riku will have to find it sometime in the next day or so, when he wakes again enough to stress over being absent from home for so long.]
