[ambling over, casually, just to see what the kid is eating.]

Is this really the kinda place for kids?

[the toddler-girl with silver hair and blue-green eyes is trying to eat some sort of bug she found in the grass! that is, until the teenage girl with silver hair and blue-green eyes manages to get it out of that chubby little fist]

Whether the DR is a place for kids or not doesn't stop them from being here.

No, she's not going to eat it! And this is the DR. The dressing room. Are you new here?

[Kira sighs and gets up, dusting off her skirt before walking a bit and opening up a previously invisible door, which shows a hallway]

Want to say that again? You're kind of rude.

Holy--geez.

[whatever, he's sticking his head into the door, rudely.]

[daddyhasagun]

[Riku might be interrupted by the toddler following him and clinging to his pants leg]

You must be new here, then. I can tell.

[Sure, little Riku, you can have his pants. Popping his head back out!]

Gonna teach me to do that?

[daddyhasagun]

Teach you to do what?

[baby-Kira yanks at Riku's pants again, then makes the universal 'up' motion, which makes Kira giggle]

No, Kira, that's not Papa.

Teach me how to open those invisible doors.

[Okay, kid, no.] Want your kid back?

Everyone can open doors, they're just doors. This is one of the outside rooms.

... and she's not my kid. She's sort of my sister. I think she thinks you're our Papa, because you feel similar.

[baby-Kira says 'Pah!' again, more demandingly; if she doesn't get her 'up' she'll cry]

So, are you going to show me how?

Sure. I don't mind helping out someone who's new.

... and Papa's name is Riku.

[sometimes she has a bit of her Daddy's wicked sense of humor; and now baby-Kira is making whiny noises up at Riku, still trying to get him to pick her up]

[maybe Riku will notice it when the toddler plops on her bottom and starts to bawl]

[Kira is going to heft up the toddler and pat her back, trying to keep her from bawling louder]

I didn't say it was funny. Welcome to the dressing room. It's a world that collects people from all sorts of world and universes. So there's lots of people who are the same, but different. Like I said, our Papa's name is Riku. But we're from a different world than you, obviously, since Papa is super-old.

He's me and he... must look like me too.

Uh huh. Just older. There's actually a lot of Rikus here, for some reason. It makes Daddy cranky.

Yeah, well, he's not the only one, just so you know.

Hey... if she's my kid, I say she can eat bugs.

[Kira makes a little 'hmph' noise, while toddler-Kira turns accusing puppy eyes on you because you didn't pick her up]

She's absolutely not eating any bugs! She's just at the stage where she puts everything in her mouth, and she could get hurt!
