[There's a new Riku around today. And he is quite odd, with a tattoo over his right eye and clothes that seem more like a medieval ninja crossbreed. He even has a loose, purple scarf around his neck, and his eyes? They're red instead of the normal cyan. Riku seems to be wandering the hallways, poking his head into rooms, though he's highly interested in anything electronic. They don't have those in Hyrule, after all.]

[What are his thoughts when a Sora slowly materializes in the middle of one of those halls? Sora's face-down on the floor, looking a little worse for wear. He doesn't seem to be awake.]

[He's going to quickly approach, but then... Become fairly cautious when he sees no pointed ears. This is obviously not a Hylian, but he looks like Sora. Could it be an illusion? Poking with his foot.]

Nnnnngh.

[Sora's swatting at that foot, but he doesn't look ready to get up yet.]

What are you?

[Still not bending down. Too many monsters in Hyrule. Especially in creepy labyrinths ~~even though this looks like it's outside~~.]

What does it look like?

[He'll roll over, reluctantly. There's a gash in the front of his shirt, with a red stain around the hole. Why so weird-looking, Riku?]

You almost look Hylian.

[Except your ears aren't pointed. Though he is concerned about that wound. Hmmm. To give up his sole Red Potion or not?]

[Except it's not a wound. Not now, anyway. Sora's sitting up to stare at Riku and rubbing a hand through his hair.]

What's a Hylian?

...A native race of Hyrule. Are you from beyond the kingdom?

[Well, that's good. He doesn't have the ability to do cure spells, and he doesn't have any fairies.]

[well, if he looks into this particular room, he might see something odd and potentially threatening! the room appears to be a smaller, more old-fashioned library, with scrolls and hand-bound sheafs of paper mixed in with aged books. the light level is low, electric lamps, at least, but not very bright ones. of concern, though, would be the large red snake-like tail curled around the edge of one of the bookcases closest to the door. that's all that's visible of whatever it belongs to, sadly. it's about the size of a human thigh at the point where it disappears behind the shelves, so tread cautiously.]

...What's Destiny Islands?

[Is this just someone from a distant land who looks like Sora? Maybe the people there don't have pointed ears.]

[...Sorry, Axel, he is assuming you're a monster. He's pulling a dagger from his waist, slowly creeping up. This place doesn't look like a dungeon, so many someone is in trouble! Hope you have super-Hylian hearing and can catch the very soft, very, very quiet footfalls, because he's creeping close enough to peer around the corner.

Eyes are usually weakpoints on large things, after all!]

[nope, he has really awful hearing, actually. especially for very quiet or high-pitched sounds. this place has made him soft, too, as the majority of the people he's met have been very nice to him and haven't treated him as a threat at all.

he's half turned toward the books, one in his hands, back to Riku. have you ever seen a giant snake with a man's torso, Riku? a man's torso with a headful of red hair, too.]

My world. You're from this... Hylia?

[Does Riku have pointed ears? If he does, Sora's staring.]

Hyrule. Hylia is a lake.

[STILL THINKING YOU'RE A MONSTER. But...]

...World?

[No. But there are pretty unique monsters in Hyrule, and he hasn't seen all of them! So he's going to sneak up as close as he can. The lack of a giant eye somewhere on his back is welcome, though, since it means he's not seen. When he's close enough, though? Going to try driving that dagger into your tail. Sorry, he doesn't know you're not a bad person.]

[that gets a shrill, startled noise, the book falling to the floor, and his tail thrashing upward, hard enough to knock several books off the shelves and probably at least make Riku stumble. Riku has the advantage of maneuverability in here, but Axel manages to get his upper half turned around to see what the hell did that. he looks a bit surprised to see that it's just a Riku-human.]

[He'd think you were being ridiculous, gosh. As it is, he's looking around the hall tiredly.]

Yeah. Looks like I'm not in mine anymore, and unless I'm wrong, you're not in yours either.

[He stumbles all right, but quickly regains his footing and-- ...Why is there no giant eye. Big monsters always have giant eyes! Hurry, Nagaxel, might wanna incapacitate him while he tries to figure out where to put that dagger next.]

...Then where am I?

I don't know if this place even has a proper name. Last time I was here, they were calling it a dressing room.

[As long as it isn't his own world.]

...Dressing room? You mean, like... Where the ladies-in-waiting would take the princess every morning?

[...He'll eventually figure things out.]

Er, maybe? Just... really, really big and pretty much a whole new world all on its own.

[because giant eyes are a bad thing to have in a desert, duh. this human looks like he's still on the attack, which is DUMB, because what kind of monster reads books and hangs out in libraries, seriously. he would try and pin Riku, but that kind of speed wouldn't work well right now, not when it's this cramped, so he takes the safer route and lowers himself slightly, so he's not as tall and threatening, and holds his hands out, palm up.]

Pleassse! I mean you no harm, honessstly.

...I've never heard of other worlds outside of the Sacred Realm.
