He sits on the paopu tree, staring out at sea, wondering if a creature like him--a Heartless--is even worthy of the light of this world. He stares at one of his hands, frowning at it. How long until he reverts? Does the spell last forever? Mm... Maybe he should find someone else to make a deal with, to reinforce his human form.

But for now, maybe, the Heartless will try and enjoy the sea breeze and the light.]

I don't think anyone wants to be one, unless they're already one. All I know is that Kairi managed to turn Sora back into a human after he was turned into a Shadow. That's what usually happened in other universes, too.
