[ Sure is a nice day to go out for a stroll in the woods! Riku thought so, anyway. And by 'thought so' what we really mean is that she picked this spot for a place to train. A wooded path in a great big forest seemed like a good choice, and now she's just waiting, walking along with her hands in her pockets. She's got her blindfold tied around her left wrist, and she's clearly wearing clothes meant for a workout, but she looks relaxed. Determined. ]

[he comes strolling along from the other direction soon enough, dressed in comfortably worn jeans and an old t-shirt that fits him as if it might actually be Kai's (it is). he's got his chakrams slung on his back, and his hair's pulled back in a sloppy ponytail today. presumably she gave him directions before hand, or maybe he just followed her scent here.]

[Riku doesn't stop walking, but she does smirk at the comment, and raise a hand to wave a greeting. She more than likely called him with directions.]

I don't know what's in here, but it seemed like a good place.

[there's someone following her, all sneaky-like!]

[Oh no, a shadow. Whatever will she do? Maybe she'll just ignore this huge possible threat oh no]

[she totally should. but if she lets him get close enough, she'll be getting a pouncing hug from behind~.]

[Egads. Okay, she wasn't expecting a pouncing hug, and it makes her jump and try to twist around to see him.]

[don't worry, he'll let go pretty quick, and just beam at her.]

How are you doing?

[Oh as if she minds. She's already smiling before he lets go, and moves to hug him.]

Alright. What about you?

I've been good.

[yaaaaaay hugs! he returns it happily.]

What are you planning out here, hm?

[He should. Best friends have the best hugs.]

Training. Didn't you get the memo?

[Riku might've just heard a thud and then a squeal, or possibly a squeal then a thud from somewhere in the forest]

Guess I didn't.

[he totally did. what an awful liar!]

[...yeah. Considering the forest was filled with nothing but the sounds of nature just a few seconds ago, she definitely heard that. It makes her stop and look around, then immediately start moving toward the source of the noise.]

Oh, I guess I should fill you in. Interested in joining?

[You know you totally want to fight her.]

I might be. It's been a while since we've had a chance to spar, huh?

[Kira is definitely not one with nature, and is leaning against a tree, trying to shake mud off her boot; she probably scared off the innocent woodland creatures]

Ick!

Can you even remember the last time?

[Yeah. It's been a while.]

[And here Riku has thought of Kira as ~~Disney~~ Princess material. She wouldn't be surprised if they flocked back. She slows down when she realizes what happened, exactly. Well.]

Problem?

[Kira doesn't mind nature, she's just very loud about it]

Oh! Riku-pie! I just stepped in a hole. There's lots of them.

[she probably tripped over every single one]

Are you Alice now?

[She makes her way closer, navigating the terrain like a pro.]

[that makes Kira giggle a little; also she is jealous of Riku's sense of balance]

Not at all. I didn't find any rabbits. But maybe I could find a lady friend for Oliver so he'll be happier.

Oliver?

[That's not a name she's familiar with! But she's going to guess (hope) it's a rabbit, because of the mention of lady friends. Did future Apricot have babies or something?]

Oliver is a... he's sort of a bunny. Except he's got wings and fangs and antlers. Aden calls him a wolpertinger and if I can find Oliver a lady friend, maybe Aden will stop getting attacked.

[Sorry, what. She's been staring since 'fangs'.]

...he takes after Red, huh?

[there's nothing wrong with a bunny with fangs... and antlers... and wings]

... Oliver? Oh, you mean Aden! Yeah, he sort of does, but that's okay because I love him anyway even if he's creepy.
