[She's not planning on being in there long! She's sore, bruise, and tired, and honestly, she's had some fitful sleep for a few hours now, but it's not working for her. Maybe a little cereal will help, she's thinking. When she spots Riku on the table she wanders over, eyebrows raised, hands in her pockets. She is totally still in her pjs.]

[He is also in his pjs, chocobo-print pants and a t-shirt. He's not slept well either, and had made some tea to try to help with that. The tea that's currently sitting nearby, mostly untouched. She'll probably have to poke him to get him to do anything.]

[Her pjs are plain, but there is a small Mickey Mouse emblem on her right thigh! She picks up the mug of tea to give it a sniff, in case it's poisoned or otherwise touched by the DR.]

[Nope, just normal herbal tea. Slightly warm still.]

[She'll set it down then and reach for his shoulder. Wakey wakey, boyself.]

[That'll get a response out of him. He jerks when she touches his shoulder, sitting up and then slumping back down in the chair, before turning to look at her.]

Was I asleep...?

[She leans back, eyebrows raised, and draws her hands back to her pockets.]

Out like a light. Figured you might want to move to a bed.

I doubt it'll help. I haven't been able to sleep in it the past couple hours...

[And apparently the table is very comfy. But he's going to get up and stretch to attempt to wake up a bit.]

You were sleeping on the table.

[Just sayin'. She's moving away to get the milk out of the fridge.]

Not on purpose.

[He's going for the microwave to heat his tea up again.]

[Maybe she should have let him sleep and get less grumpy! She opens the fridge, fetches a carton of milk, and then heads to the pantry to find a decent box of cereal that doesn't consist of mouthfuls of sugar.]

[Until tomorrow, then. He'll get on that in a bit. Besides, he's allowed to be a little grumpy.]

Thanks for waking me up, though.

You sure you wouldn't rather sleep in the kitchen?

[Found: Honey Nut Cheerios! Slightly more healthy than the other options. She's going to fix herself a bowl.]

As comfy as the table is, no.

[The microwave goes off at him, and he retrieves his mug from it. That cereal is looking like a good idea to him, too.]

If you're sure.

[She sounds amused, and she thought he might. After she's poured herself some, she holds the cereal box up and gives it a shake.]

Want a bowl?

Completely.

[And here he was about to ask if she'd keep the box out for him.]

Yeah, I'll take some.

[She slides the box and milk his way, but he'll have to get his own bowl. She'll grab a spoon for him, though.]

[Yaaay cereall. Food that's not meat-related is good. And yes, he's capable of getting his own bowl.

He has to put the cereal and milk back, doesn't he?]

[Yup. She's sitting by the time he's made his bowl. Om nom nom. Also ugh, no kidding. Riku won't eat any meat for the next week at least.]

[Grumble. But not really. He's awake enough not to do something stupid like put the cereal where the milk goes or vice versa. He'll sit back down across the table from her...and not actually fall asleep this time.]

[Nom. It occurs to her how ridiculous it is in the DR sometimes. Two Rikus in pjs, eating the exact same cereal. Oh you, DR.]

[He'd have to agree with that. Even after a year, he finds it odd that he's accepted the DR as 'normal' compared to anything else.

He pauses after eating about half of his cereal, glancing at the door and then back to his bowl, poking at the remaining Cheerios.]

[She stops with the spoon in her mouth, then carefully sets it back in the bowl as she watches him. She doesn't talk with her mouth full (most of the time) so feel free to continue, boyku.]

[He pauses, trying to figure out how to ask what he wants to.]

This may be a stupid question, but...is it a bad idea to be alone during certain nights? I meant to ask a while back, but it was never a good time.

[He kinda trails off the last couple words, because it sounds like a dumb question outside of his head.]

[She looks a little confused, like she doesn't entirely understand what he's getting at.]

If you mean during the full moon, I'll never do that again. Someone has to be around to stop me if I get loose. I always ask Red. He's immune, and he's the only person I trust to kill me before I get to someone else. He did, once. One of the two times I've gotten loose.

[She leans back in her chair, looking down at her cereal.]

The other time I managed to knock Red out. Nami found me, and I bit him before he could escape... I also killed a Namine.

I know. I found that Namine right before I found you.

[More like stepped on her, but same thing. He wasn't going to mention the full moon at first, but since she did, he changes his mind.]

I talked to Red. Last month. Got lectured about needing someone to keep me in check and how irresponsible I am.

[She's avoiding looking at him now, feeling incredibly guilty about this whole mess.]

Do you want to infect someone else?

Of course I don't. But I don't have anyone to rely on, and I'm an outsider to your group.

[He goes back to his cereal while he waits for her response.]

Only because you won't be submissive.

[She sounds so smug.]

[He pauses, looking surprised, and replaces the spoon that was halfway to his mouth.]

To you? Probably not happening.

[She gives him a solid kick under the table.]

[God woman, what is it with you and kicking lately? He jumps, not expecting the kick, and winces.]

That's not really going to help.

No, but it makes me feel better.

[So there.]

Good to hear.

[He considers kicking her back, but decides against it. He does finish off his cereal and then get up, out of kicking range, to put the bowl and spoon in the sink.]

[She follows him with her own bowl, but leans against the counter first to drink her milk.]

[He fills his bowl up with water to rinse it out, and pauses, suddenly moving the bowl to hold it over Riku's head. Maybe he should retaliate for the kick.]

[She might kill him. She freezes in place, staring up at the bowl.]

Don't you dare.

[Onoes. He holds it there for a few seconds, then moves it back over the sink and dumps the water out.]

I won't. I can't move that fast right now.

[Okay, she laughs at that, because she knows the feeling, and because she's relieved not to be soaked, then moves to put her bowl in the sink as well.]

[He laughs a little as well, mostly because he didn't make her angry ~~he is totally not afraid of her~~.]

But I'm more awake now. I don't know if that's what I want or not.

Let your food settle and try going back to bed. I am.

[She's stretches, certainly looking tired enough to sleep.]

[He's actually still tired, the conversation just woke him up slightly.]

I was planning on it. At least leaving here.

Good. Otherwise you'll end up so exhausted you'll fall on your face in the halls.

[Does she have experience with this? Maybe.]

Right. I don't want to do that.

[He's trying not to laugh, because he's assuming she does have experience with it. There's a faint smile on his face, though.]

You don't.

[She smiles back a little, and stuffs her hands in her pockets.]
