[The Heartless hasn't been sure what to make of the sudden change to the dressing room. Before, it had been open, and despite being a prison in itself, it hadn't reminded him of that stupid prison he'd living in before. But now, the endless halls, however strange they are, happen to unnerve him. It's just like being back in the Dataspace to him, confined and trapped. And the biggest problem is he can't just hack his way through walls because he's that good with data. So he'd mainly hidden himself away at these changes, but now? Now he's out an about... Sort of. He's sort of just flopped onto a random couch, looking rather depressed for a Heartless. It seems he's found some sort of sitting room--not that he cares.]

It's like that place is going to haunt me forever.

[He'll look up and... Blink. According to his data, this is... Kairi, yes? But she's much smaller than he recalls. Huh. Because he doesn't know how human growth works all that well.]

[Guess what else is gonna haunt you forever? This guy! Or bit of coding, whatever you want to think of him as. Either way, he's leaning on the top of the couch, peering down at the Heartless.]

What's haunting you?

[He'd been languid moments before. But now? Now he's scrambling up and glaring. Nope, doesn't like you at all. Why are you here!? He though he'd gotten away from you when he managed to escape the Datascape!]

[she tilts her head at his expression, and cautiously steps closer.]

Are you sure? You look sad.

[The feeling is mutual. He doesn't like bugs that muck up his programming.]

I think I'm allowed to, seeing as it used to be the other way around before.

It just feels like I'm right back in the place I spent so long trying to escape, is all.

[He's observing her, though it's probably hard to tell given that his eyes just. Glow.]

Well, if you'd let me go free, we wouldn't have had any problems, would we?

[Glaring at you, just a little bit. Shut up, your programming was delicious and fun to muck up.]

And it wouldn't have been your problem. Besides, I've been behaving here.

[He even made friends! Sort of. The most delicious.]

Oh. 'm sorry. Are you from another dressing room?

[she doesn't look afraid of him at all.]

No. I'm from what's called the Datascape. It was very confining, though.

[...That's new. Most people are afraid or very wary. But she's actually asking how he feels?]

[The Sora part cancels out the apparently-a-Heartless part!]

What's a Datascape?

[Oh. That makes sense. Though now he's trying to think of how to go about this.]

...Do you know what a computer is?

[aprincess]

[she nods!]

Of course I do.

The Datascape was almost an entire miniature universe inside of a computer. However, everything worked like a normal program with a few exceptions.

[He'll sit up fully and pat the couch next to him for her to sit.]

[she takes a seat, beaming at him. What a friendly Heartless!]

That sounds so cool! Did it look like a computer inside? Or a videogame?

[feedmyglitch]

I guess. I wouldn't know. I was a program. It... Looked kind of like a lot of world most of the time, but you could break away the outer coding and peek inside. There was lots of walls made of numbers.

[Is that what a computer looks like? He's never actually taken one apart before.]

You're a computer?

[she's almost got it!]

Not quite. I was part of a computer.

[Close! But she's a bright girl, it seems, so she'll get a nice, gentle pat on the head.]

Whoaaaa.

[she scoots closer, because this is the most fascinating story she's heard in a while.]

So your world's a computer's insides, and you're like if people lived inside computers! You must be really smart! How'd you get out? Is it like all the worlds?

And then the Heartless made a friend, it seems.

I'm not literally from the insides. I'm... Basically part of what makes it do the things it does. And I guess I'm kind of smart.

[...How does he explain this to a child? This is hard. but her enthusiasm is nice!]

[it doesn't look like she really understands, but she's still paying full attention.]

Are you like a robot?

No, I'm a Heartless. Just the same as normal ones, except in origin.

[And as if to prove a point, his darkness will twist and shrink and change until he is nothing but a Shadow sitting next to her. Because his other form is too big, and this one is still relatively cute.]

[aprincess]

[she jumps in her seat and leans back, but not... recoiling. She's just startled by his sudden shift in appearance. She doesn't get up, or try to run, or anything.]
