[ Looks like snow today, DR. At least in this area, it looks like it snowed overnight. But there are great big clouds making it overcast this fine morning. If she thought it would help her stay more hidden, Riku might have waited until it really was snowing before setting out on her adventure. But no. She's out already, bundled up for the cold with a hood covering her head, so she can at least pretend she's not walking down the street where she knows several (alternate, she reminds herself) future people live. Including her (alternate) future self and her kid.

Unfortunately, that's exactly the house she's going to, and knocking on the door of after much hesitation. But there's plenty of time for someone to distract Riku and save her from her own self-induced torture. ]

[Is a hurrying figure, arms loaded with presents, heading past through the white fluff sufficient distraction for a little while? Especially if he doesn't entirely look like he can see where he's going? Better look out...]

[It's Red who opens the door, though he looks surprised to see who's there. And then he looks pretty ready to just close the door again.]

[--well, that's not something you see often. He kind of looks like he's about to topple over though.]

Huh? [He skids to a halt and peers over the parcels.] Oh, sorry! Thanks for warning me.

[She pulls her hands out of her pockets and holds them in front of her. I COME IN PEACE, FUTURE RED. Wearing fuzzy winter gloves.]

I need to ask you something.

Can you even see where you're going?

[That's a lot of presents. If he'd kept heading the way he was going he might have tripped straight into a ditch full of snow.]

I thought I was managing... Apparently not enough.

[He looks suitably embarrassed.]

[He doesn't close the door on her face, in that case, and leans against it somewhat.]

[Half a laugh, but he's standing there.]

[She'll head closer and pull her hood down, then start rearranging them in what she hopes is an easier form to hold. ]

[She says that in the nicest way possible.]

After a minute more of shuffling presents she steps back, hands on her hips. She tried to make it so he could at least see where he was going, while hopefully keeping the gifts stable.]

[He's got spares. He can find something.]
