[ Something is wrong with the dressing room. At least, that's what Riku thinks.

Today? Today was her birthday! She's twenty years old now, and she feels so old compared to most other Rikus. But today went as any birthday should. She slept as long as she wanted (most of the day, given her vampire costume), and it's a nice evening with clear skies and bright stars. She's been walking around town, along the boardwalk at the beach, hands in her pockets. The absence of a cake hasn't bothered her, because she can't eat food anyway, and so far no sentient pastries have shown up to ruin her day. It's been completely and utterly normal.

Riku could not possibly be feeling more paranoid. She would probably jump if someone went 'boo'. ]

[Hey there, Riku. Incoming blue balls (of snow) in three.. two.. one.. ]

[What does she think of the Riku that suddenly appears in her path a little ways ahead? From above, no less, having literally leaped off the roof of the nearest building after spotting her.]

[Wait what it's too early for snowballs. Thank the DR for her vampire reflexes. She'll dodge anything, at least.]

[She thinks she is going to jump back into a battle-ready stance because wtf is going on.]

[He (well, she, as he's still both girl-shaped and has kitty parts) holds up his hands to show that he's not going to attack. He's also wearing this shirt (with a shirt under it, of course) because apparently he also needs to be more holiday appropriate a week before Halloween.]

Look! I can make snow!

[He didn't think any would manage to hit her, but he's still laughing gleefully as he runs up to her. It may be a relief to her that he doesn't smell human at all right now.]

You can what?

[He smells pleasantly of ice and winter, and it is indeed quite welcome, even though Riku has managed to get control over her vampire impulses since the last time she saw him. Mostly.]

[Hello attractive catgirl clone, how are you today. Riku raises an eyebrow at him, but relaxes considerably.]

It's fine.

[Hello to you too. What's with the raised eyebrow, he's allowed to be out at night isn't he?]

How's the vampire thing working out for you?

Look!

[He gives a little whistle, and it starts to gently snow around them. She's probably seen him in all his blue-ness, but affecting the weather is pretty new to him. Even the grass around him is reacting to the cold radiating from him.]

[Sure, but not jumping from buildings. She shrugs a little. It's going damn fine, thank you, but she's not going to say that.]

Pretty good. How's... that?

[Tits and tails.]

[Her eyes widen a little, and she reaches out to catch the snow, to see if it's an illusion. She looks pretty impressed.]

You might have one of the best costumes out there.

I think so too, now that I'm not so scared of myself. Yesterday I turned invisible by accident.

[The snow is very real, and explains where he got those snowballs from.]

[She is impressed! And hey, snowballs are totally different from making it snow. See: Vexen.]

How'd you change back?

I'm not really sure. I just really wanted to stop being invisible. I kept wanting to grab people's noses when they couldn't see me, too.

...okay, that part's a little weird.

[She's going to dust some snow off.]

[A little ways up the beach you might be able to hear the sound of a sword fight as this one battles a group of heartless with his sword. Though not in his usual clothes (http://i2.listal.com/image/1184471/500full.jpg), the way the sword is on fire might help indicate who this pirate usually is.]

I think maybe it's part of whoever I'm supposed to be.

[It's a good thing he only gave a little whistle. A lot of the snow melts right away, but the area immediately around them is starting to stick.]

[Oh. Roxas has a pretty average costume, huh? Pirate clothes, flaming sword... yep, totally average. But even if she wouldn't be approaching him otherwise, the Heartless have her summoning her keyblade as she runs up to him.]

[It doesn't seem like he even needs that fire advantage with the way he's swinging that sword around expertly, but that skill definitely came with the costume. When he spots her, he's grinning, lunging to stab a heartless through the middle.]

Hey! Come to join the party?

[Bye bye, neoshadow! WHOOSH]

[That's really kind of awesome, but yeah, she'd prefer not to see what else he can do. ...maybe she should take him to Christmas Town while he's got the costume, though.]

Maybe you're some kind of snow fairy.

Looks like an open invitation, to me.

[She's not joining in just yet, though, because she's distracted checking out Roxas's new fighting moves.]

Where'd you learn to do that?

I'm not sure!

[There's an accent there where he speaks as well, slicing a nearby heartless across the middle.]

Same place I got the accent, I suppose!

[Her eyebrows shoot up at that, but then she shrugs and moves to cut through the Heartless with him. ~~Hopefully they're not zombie Heartless.~~]

[~~GUESS WE'LL FIND OUT, HUH~~

With the two of them, this group of heartless doesn't stand a chance~! As a matter of fact, their numbers are dwindling rather quickly.]

I wasn't aware vampires could wield keyblades so well!
