Alright, how is this a costume? Seriously?

[Kai is looking just a teensy bit different this morning. he'd been on his way to do a bit of shopping, but now he's left sort of shifting awkwardly in place as he tries not to fall over. sure, he's been a pony before - both the regular sort and the oddly proportioned cartoon sort - but those times he was fully equine, not... a bunch of pieces stuck together while still being mostly human from the waist up. his hand moves to the single, off-center horn coming out of his forehead and he frowns briefly. this entire 'costume' is going to prove rather inconvenient.]

[Hey guess who. It's a very pale (and confused) Riku, on her way home to her coffin. Like any other time she's been out during daylight this month, she's wearing a long black coat and gloves. Nothing resembling the Organization uniform, thankfully. It's more like a trenchcoat, which unfortunately means no hood. That would explain the black parasol she has over one shoulder.]

Did Red get his hands on you?

Unfortunately, no.

[if he had, it could be reversed before Halloween, after all.]

This is all the dressing room.

[Gosh, she knows. She's moving closer, tilting her head as she looks him over.]

That's... definitely Halloween.

I guess so. Being in parts, maybe, but centaurs don't exactly scream October festivities.

[She gestures at him, stopping just a couple feet away.]

[he touches the 'scarring' down his front. they all look so sloppy, it's a wonder he's even staying together.]

Looks like Halloween Town.

[She lowers the parasol just a bit, head tilted.]

How's it feel?

I couldn't tell you yet, honestly. I can barely feel anything past my waist yet. Not necessarily like it's numb, but more like the horse part hasn't completely connected yet... or something.

That's definitely creepy.

[She looks kind of alarmed!]

I'm already starting to feel more going on than when I first changed into... whatever this is, but yeah, it's more than a little creepy.

I wonder if your other parts could move around if you were separated.

[This is a sign Riku has been hanging out with Red too much. This Halloween stuff is just making her curious about things like that. Does he have a pulse? A pulse, at least, will reassure Riku that's he's not dead. Not all of him, at least.]

...I'd rather not test that.

[she'll be happy to know he has a pulse! And the pulse does indeed run through all of him.]

[She snorts, more at ease now.]

I wasn't expecting you to.

[he looks down at his front legs, moving them and trying to feel said movement. it's very strange, knowing he's the one doing that, and yet not being able to feel it properly. sort of like everything below his waist is asleep or something.]

[She thinks about it a moment, then moves closer and holds a hand up.]

Mind if I feel?

Go ahead.

[maybe it'll help him get some feeling in everywhere!]

[She does! And by that I mean she moves forward to put her hand a bit below the first stitches, where the horse part begins, and not quite anywhere near the zebra bit.]

Huh...

[the muscle twitches a little under her touch, and Kai looks surprised, then pleased.]

I kind of felt that!

[She raises an eyebrow, then gives him a poke.]

How 'bout that?

[it takes a second, but he nods! this is great.]

Looks like it's starting to get better.

[She smirks at him and puts her free hand on her hip.]

Maybe you need a massage.

Are you offering?

[why yes, he is waggling his eyebrows. you brought this on yourself, with such an open line, Riku!]

I might break something if I tried.

[She wiggles her fingers at him menacingly, baring her fangs. What a dork.]

That's pretty unfortunate.

[Yeah, that works on her about as well as pouting. Which is none at all.]
