[So, another resident of the DR is celebrating their birthday today. Sam is currently sitting out on the front steps of the apartment building, drinking a beer and glaring back into his and Meyd's apartment where the DR saw fit to tie birthday balloons everywhere. He is not planning on going back in there any time soon.

So anyone who wants to bother him out here, go right ahead.]

[ but honey, someone wants you inside the house-- maybe the slowly collecting water in the air around Sam will give off a hint! ]

[Well, Rinzler's not intending to bother him. But he can't help but stop when he spots Sam there. Maybe it's curiosity. Maybe it's just keeping an eye on his whereabouts.

Either way, there he is.]

[You know what every birthday needs? Mood music. Fortunately, neither of them is inclined to 'Happy Birthday,' so it... sounds kinda like the End of the Line Club's come to him.]

[Sam blinks and sighs with a smirk before standing up and heading inside, pushing through the bazillion balloons.]

What?

[Oh this is not what he needs on his birthday, hell no. Sam just watches him carefully, making sure he doesn't try anything.]

[For now, Rinzler's quite content to watch Sam watching him, like the world's most bizarre lawn ornament.]

[ that water will slam the front door shut and begin trailing to their bedroom. FOLLOW YOUR INSTINCTS, SAM ~~or should you.~~ ]

[Oh well now. Bending down to give Marv a scritch behind the ears, he looks towards the bedroom before straightening up and heading that way. Babe you have the most interesting way to use your powers.]

[ and the door will open slowly before Sam can even turn the knob, revealing a pretty dimly lit room. The only light being from the thousands of blue candles scattered in various places, casting shadows against the walls. Myde seems to be missing, but that subtle water is still pushing Sam to go into the room, but refraining from entering the room for obvious reasons. Other than that, the only difference besides the odd lighting is the cluster of forget me not flowers cluttered on their bed in the shape of a heart. ]

Whoa....

[Sam steps inside and looks back over his shoulder at the door, as if he KNOWS something's about to happen.]

Babe?

[ And the door slams shut, revealing a Meyd wearing a shirt Sam might find familiar, and.. only that shirt. A few of the top buttons are undone, revealing a bit of cleavage, and her hair is slightly wet, dripping in a few places. If Sam were to inspect her closer (which is what she's hoping!), he'll notice that there's a few stray drops of water here and there going down her chest and stomach. The look on her face should tell Sam that he's more than welcome to take a step closer, and that'd be the wisest decision of his life-- ]

[Sam blinks and takes a couple of steps closer, tilting his head a bit as he looks her over.]

Well....wow...

[ She'll take advantage of this and step closer, eliminating the distance between them. Leaning up on her tip toes, she'll plant the softest and completely teasing kiss on his lips, before stepping back and wiggling her eyebrows. ]

[Raising an eyebrow at the kiss, he slides his arms around her waist with a smirk.]

So what's up?

[ Her arms will snake up his sides, going to rest on his shoulders, leaving her hands lightly touching his neck. Tilting her head, she leans up and whispers. ]
