[Looking for Avani? You'll find her just inside the beach room, laying unconscious on the sand, looking beat to hell and back, with bruises and what looks like cuts from an identity disc all over her body and a handprint-shaped bruise on her throat. What happened?]

[ooc: Clu happened, that's what. She confronted him about what happened with Hikari, fight ensued, and yeah something like this happened at one point.]

[ aaaand here comes a previous victim, all 'dolled' up in beach gear-- which is just a pair of green swim trunks and a camouflaged towel thrown over his shoulder, as well as a matching in design beanie on his head, making no hair visible-- ... the fuck.

BRB DROPPING EVERYTHING AND RUNNING OVER. ]

[It takes her a bit but she coughs lightly and brings a hand up to her throat.]

Clu you fucking bastard I swe--

[She blinks bleary midnight-blue eyes at Hayner.]

Oh hi.

[ wide, slightly panicked chocolate brown eyes are meeting hers back. ]

Clu? Did he do this to you!?

[ And those eyes are getting progressively more angry looking. He'll kneel down and sort of bluntly go to move her chin so he can look at the bruise with his own newly scabbed hand-- which.. looks like it has been opened many times-- so, pretty bad. ]

[Avani just flops back on the sand and lets Hayner do whatever.]

Uh huh, I heard that he was trying to make the younger me work for him, so I went to confront him about it.

Worst idea I ever had the whole year I've been here...

Work for him.. why? What does he need to be done that he would get a kid to do the work for him..?

[ He's just inspecting the bruise, serious anger becoming prominent on his facial features. ]

And where the hell does he get off hitting a girl?

Something about her and Castor teasing him during the bodyswap and how he wanted her to find Castor for him...said he was going to throw her up against Rinzler if she refused...

[She slowly pushes herself up to a seated position and rubs her face, casting cure on the cuts.]

Well technically I started it, so.

Sorry.. if I knew how to do that.. I'd have already done it..

[ looks to the side, clenching his fists-- which.. causes the bad one to hurt like fuck and start opening again. ]

It doesn't matter if you started tha-- HE CAN'T THROW A KID AT RINZLER!

[ yelling now. ]

HE CAN'T! SHE'D DIE OR SOMETHING! TRUST ME, I WOULD KNOW!

[WHAT. WHAT IS THIS.]

You really think age matters to them?

[She lets out a soft groan of pain as she squeezes her eyes shut.]

[What does it look like? Avani whines and rolls over onto her side, curling up in a near-fetal position as she starts regaining consciousness. Who knows how long it's been since Clu left her there...]

Not really, but that doesn't make it right. They need to learn their lesson.

[ unclenched his fist and sort of shakes it, blood bubbling up from the wounds, but he doesn't seem to care-- ]

Do.. you want me to go get some potions or something.. even if I don't know where they are?

[he's kicking up sand running to you, crashing down next to you and pushing your hair out of your face]

Avani!

Mmmm...yeah could you? There's a stash in the cupboard in the bathroom near the hall my room's in.

[She gives him directions.]

[The voice hasn't registered just yet, and when you touch her, her hand shoots out to grab you by the wrist. But when it finally does, she blinks up at you and lets go.]

Hi Rikka...

[he checks your vital signs just like his Daddy taught him to do during First Aid]

I... I don't know Cures very well yet...

[he pulls out a Hi-Potion though, and will uncork it so you can drink. he'll even sit you up very very gently]

[When he wants to be, Rinzler can be totally silent. This is one of those times, and the only sound she'll pick up is the the soft noise of feet in the sand. He doesn't 'say' anything either. He just sort of... waits and watches.]

[Avani leans against him and drinks it. While it takes effect she explains.]

Clu said he was going to put Hikari up against Rinzler in the disc arena if he didn't do something for her...I heard about it, confronted him just outside, he beat me unconscious and threw me in here....I can't even remember how long ago it was....

[Avani cracks her eyes open and looks up, letting out a groan of combined exasperation and pain once it registers who she's looking at.]

What do you want?

[swallows]

Too many people care about you and Hikari to let that happen. Mark my words.

[without warning or another word, he picks you up and takes you through a portal to his studio, setting you very gently on the bed that's still in there]

[Once Avani's set on the bed she curls up and watches Rikka do whatever.]

I know...maybe I should try and tone down my protective streak just a little, so i don't keep getting hurt...

[raises an eyebrow]

I would prefer us to stop meeting this way, sure.

[smiles a little when he turns his back to you]

I think it's admirable though. I'd do the same.

[He doesn't answer. (No surprise there, at least.) But he doesn't seem interested in fighting her either; he doesn't make the slightest move towards his discs, although that rumble of his crops back up for a moment.]

[She can't help but smile.]

I know you would. That's--

[--what she loves the most about you, but she can't bring herelf to finish that sentence so she just settles back onto the bed.]

[sighs and smiles, bringing a pillow (http://shanalogic.com/item.php?item_id=3051&page=2&category_id=156) for you to prop on, giving you a peck on the forehead]

Did he send you to check up on me? If he did you can tell him I'm fine.

[Anything to get you away from her.]

[Avani nods and curls up around the pillow, giggling softly when she gets a good look at it.]

[he never quite grows out of loving cute-ish things, though he'll deny to hell to anyone but you and Kira, but only because she already knows ;;]

[She just smiles and watches Rikka do whatever while she rests.]

[he doesn't really have anything to do. he decides to just sit in his armchair and grabs a pillow of his own]

Anything I can do?

[ He'll head off then at full speed, taking no time to get as many as his arms can carry, bringing them back after downing one himself to make the bleeding stop. Hayner offers them to her silently. ]

[She liked the snuggle time they had at the toy closet upstairs]

[Check up on? Only in a manner of speaking. He makes no indication that he's about to leave though.]

[Okay now she's getting suspicious. She just sits up, looking at Rinzler warily, not about to attack him, she would so end up dead.]

[he tries not to smirk]

I dunno if you're up for that. You've got some nasty bruises. I don't wanna make it worse.

[Suspicious is good. But any expression on his face is hidden by the mask, and once she sits up he turns to go.]

[That is one powerful Light based healing spell you're getting now.]

[She takes them and downs as many as she needs to until she can actually move without a lot of pain.]

[How big of a group could you take on trying to protect him, Rinzler?]

[With all her Darkness it's a little uncomfortable but it helps. She's cracking her eyes open and blinking at the blonde that just healed her.]

[She wants cuddles dammit, and is pouting forever until she gets some. XD]

[ And he'll crouch down, looking at the wounds again. ]

[have a warm, teenage boy sliding onto the bed next to you and drawing you near for cuddles. should there be blankets? he feels a little blushface about being in a bed with a girl]

[There's a slight snort at that, but he's at least registered the comment. He'll probably tell Clu, too, although he knows better than to promise it'll have the intended outcome.

And unless she stops him, he's out the door in a matter of moments.]

[Well with all her Light it's a little difficult to keep it out of whatever magic she uses. She'll get better control over it someday.]

Are you alright?

[She looks pretty worried. Well, if you can see well enough past her glow. Though her features should be visible.]

[She's used to it; her best friend's mother and sister both have a lot of Light so. She sits up and rubs her throat, nodding.]

Yeah...

[Avani smiles and rests her head on his shoulder.]

I'll make sure I haven't gotten my ass kicked the next time I see you, promise.

[She can't help but giggle a little at that.]

I'm holding you to that.

[he wiggles to get cozy and wraps an arm around you so that you fit nicely against him. he's just happy you're resting, and is all about some snuggles.]
